Superchor Bunty thrown out of Bigg Boss 4

Mumbai, October 04: Devinder Singh alias Superchor Bunty has been asked to leave reality show “Bigg Boss 4” following unruly behaviour in the house on the first day itself.

Bunty entered the “Bigg Boss” house in Lonavala with 13 other contestants Saturday night and was asked to leave the show Sunday night.

“Bunty kept breaking all the rules and he kept sleeping throughout the day which is not allowed in the house. He even covered the cameras with socks and used abusive language against the ‘Bigg Boss’. So he was asked to leave, ” a source from Colors told.

I will take difficult decisions if needed: Gilani

Islamabad, October 04: Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that he would not hesitate to take “difficult decisions” in the country’s interest.

At a meeting with a group of journalists at his home here Sunday, Gilani said: “Let me make it clear that the judiciary wants democracy in the country and its top priority is to strengthen it. We will strengthen all institutions and continue with the politics of reconciliation.”

Not in ‘Bigg Boss’ for image makeover: Kasab’s former lawyer

New Delhi, October 04: Senior criminal lawyer S.G. Abbas Kazmi, who was sacked as the counsel for 26/11 terrorist Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab, says people will see his fearless personality on “Bigg Boss 4.” He also clarifies that he is not on the show for an image makeover.

I’ll never romance Kareena: Ranbir

Mumbai, October 04: Ranbir Kapoor says he would love to work with his cousin sister Kareena Kapoor on screen, but never in a romantic movie.

Asked if he has been offered any film, he said: “Nothing has been offered to me. I don’t think people in the right senses would offer me a romantic movie with Bebo (Kareena’s pet name). But yes, if there’s a movie on cousins, I would love to act with her.”

In the past, Kareena too has shown keen interest in working with Ranbir.

Ranbir says he would have loved to work with Madhuri Dixit, but “unfortunately she retired”.

Sena, MNS Oppose Participation Of Pak Artistes In Big Boss-4

Mumbai, October 04: The Shiv Sena and MNS today vehemently opposed the participation of Pakistani artistes in the fourth season of popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, and threatened to stall its run.

The much-awaited show kicked off here yesterday with Bollywood superstar and host Salman Khan unveiling all the 14 contestants, including Veena Malik, Pakistani model and ex-girlfriend of cricketer Mohammed Asif and Begum Nawazish Ali, a cross dresser who hosts a famous chat show on a Pakistani channel.

Ayodhya’s saints plan to honour judge Sharma

New Delhi, October 04: Ayodhya’s Hindu religious leaders would felicitate Justice Dharam Veer Sharma, who was one of the judges who pronounced the judgement in the Ayodhya title suit case, a member of the Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust said on Monday.

“The sadhus and saints of Ayodhya will honour Justice Sharma for delivering the historic verdict in favour of the Ram temple”, Ram Vilas Vedanti told reporters in Ayodhya.

He said the dates of the felicitation ceremony would be decided after talking to Sharma, who would be apprised of the sentiments of the sadhus.

Mumbai, October 04: In an astonishing revelation, Mumbai Police in a survey has found that 60 per cent of prepaid SIM cards were procured using fake documents in the city.

Besides, mobile service providers, the city police held vendors equally responsible for providing prepaid SIM cards without proper verification and cracked down on them, prompting several shops in city and suburbs to put up a notice saying “SIM Cards Not Available.”

Ahmadinejad: Washington losing nerve

80-year-old raped by youth

Lucknow, October 04: An 80-year-old woman was assaulted and raped by a young man in Uttar Pradesh’s Sonbhadra district, police said Monday. The 27-year-old rapist was arrested Monday.

The woman, a native of Dilwari village, over 250 km from Lucknow, was raped Sunday night by Shyamlal, who also lives in the same village, police inspector P.P. Singh told reporters.

Shyamlal was arrested Monday morning from a hideout in the village, police said. The man has confessed to the crime.

Resting laptop on legs can damage skin

London, October 04: Beware people who work with a laptop on their legs can permanently damage their skin.

A medical report has found that placing the devices next to the skin for long periods can lead to “toasted skin syndrome”, an unusual-looking mottled skin condition caused by long-term heat exposure.

In one case, a 12-year-old boy developed a sponge-patterned skin discolouration on his left thigh after playing computer games a few hours every day for several months, reports the Telegraph.

Shiv Sena praises Judge Khan, Ayodhya petitioner Ansari

Mumbai, October 04: Calling him a patriot, the Shiv Sena Monday heaped praises on Justice S.U. Khan of the Allahabad High Court, which last week ruled that the Babri Mosque was built at the birthplace of Lord Ram in Ayodhya.

In an editorial, the Shiv Sena’s mouthpiece Saamna sympathised with Justice Khan’s predicament while penning the judgment, and said he must have been ‘under tremendous mental stress and agony which is unimaginable’.

121 deaths due to road accidents during rains

Hyderabad, October 03 (Siasat News): A startling rise in deaths due to road accidents has been observed during the current rainy season in the twin cities.

An average of 40 deaths occurred each month resulting in a total of 121 in three months, which are far higher than the deaths occurred in any other season.

Hyderabad, October 04: In what could change the political landscape of Telangana, currently dominated by TRS, balladeer and folk artist Gummadi Vithal Rao, better known as Gaddar, on Sunday announced a new party, Telangana Praja Front. It will be formally launched on October 9 in Hyderabad.

The Front, which is expected to try to wrest control of the Telangana movement from the TRS, is not just a political party, Gaddar said.

La Martiniere School Principal, 3 Teachers Arrested

Kolkata, October 04: Seven months after 13-year-old student Rouvanjit Rawla ended his life, the principal and three teachers of the La Martiniere School were arrested here on Monday on charges of abetment to suicide.

Principal Sunirmal Chakravarti and three teachers, Garnian, Partho Dutta and David Raun, were arrested this morning, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Damayanti Sen said. The Class VIII student had killed himself on February 12, allegedly after being caned by the principal.

NYC mosque’s imam getting death threats: Wife

New York, October 04: The wife of an imam planning an Islamic community center and mosque near ground zero says she and her husband have received death threats.

Daisy Khan said Sunday the lives of her and Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf are “under threat.”

Police can’t confirm the threats.

Khan was part of a discussion of Islam on ABC television’s “This Week” news program.

She says moderate Muslims like her must lead the fight against extremists. She says if moderates are branded extremists they’ll be thrown into the arms of Al Qaida.

30-day test run for Makkah metro

Jeddah, October 04: The newly established Mashair Railway, which links the holy sites of Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifa with Makkah, will have a 30-day test run before opening to transport domestic and GCC pilgrims during the upcoming Haj season.

Municipal and Rural Affairs Minister Prince Mansour bin Miteb will inspect the railway (also known as the Makkah Metro) on Tuesday to make sure the facility is ready to transport the guests of God. The railway will bring about a dramatic change in pilgrim transportation between the holy sites.

Crackers godown catches fire

Hyderabad, October 04 (Siasat News): A crackers godown caught fire at the first floor of Bhawani fire works late night resulting massive smoke pluming across the area.

The incident took place in shop no 17 of Sri Krupa market situated at Mahboob Ganj, Malakpet. Police while making arrangements for putting down the fire stopped traffic too at National highway from Chaderghat to Nalgonda X road. The traffic jammed as the buses, Lorries and other vehicles stuck to the place.

Law upheld faith, says Advani

New Delhi, october 04: Arguing that “law” had upheld “faith”, L K Advani architect of the Ram Janmabhoomi agitation said that the Allahabad High Court judgment had opened the doors for an amicable negotiated settlement to the 60-year-old dispute.

Advani said he was “extremely happy” to note that after the judgment, the nation had “arrived at a fortuitous point” where “judicial verdict” and “amicable solution” could be blended well.
