But two other Mumbai icons, actor Amitabh Bachchan and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, have informed the Sena that they cannot.

Director Sajid Khan says he has used an anti-piracy software to make sure there are no illegal downloads of the film.Sajid said that “Housefull” has used an anti-piracy and corruption software called Republique to avoid illegal downloading on the Internet.

“If anyone tries downloading it, not only will the files get corrupted but their IP address too will pop up and they will be prosecuted with all charges against them as per the anti-piracy law,” he said.

Delta jet diverted in U.S. by passenger bomb claim

Paris, April 28: A Delta Airlines flight to Atlanta from Paris was diverted to Maine on Tuesday after a passenger made threats about a bomb and was subdued by U.S. air marshals before being taken into custody upon landing, authorities said.

The male passenger, an American citizen, made comments about having a backpack bomb on board, law enforcement officials said.

A Delta spokeswoman said Flight 273, an Airbus 330, had 235 passengers and a crew of eight on board.

Women with diabetes 25 % more at risk of cancer

London, April 28: A new study has revealed that women with diabetes are 25 percent more likely to develop cancer.The study, led by Tel Aviv University Medical School involving 17,000 diabetics, showed that male patients were far less likely than healthy men to develop prostate cancer – which meant there was no rise in their overall cancer risk.

The women, however, were found to be particularly more at risk from colon and genital organ cancers, giving them an overall higher cancer risk of 25 percent, reports dailymail.co.uk.

U.S., Israel say Syria arming Hezbollah with missiles

Washington, April 28: U.S. and Israeli defence ministers accused Syria on Tuesday of arming Lebanese Hezbollah guerrillas with increasingly powerful missiles, but Israel said it did not intend to provoke a conflict over the buildup.

The comments by U.S. Defence Secretary Robert Gates and Israel’s Ehud Barak stopped short of identifying what type of missiles were being supplied to Hezbollah, after reports that the group had obtained long-range Scud missiles capable of hitting targets across the Jewish state.

Netanyahu to meet Egyptian president

Jerusalem, April 28: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed hope that the stalled peace process between Israel and Palestine would resume next week.”I was told that the Palestinian President intends on renewing talks, and I will be very glad if the venture comes to fruition next week,” Netanyahu said adding that Israel wants peace in its own interests.

Netanyahu will meet Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak next Monday to discuss ways to resume talks with the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Xinhua reported.

15 Whales stranded on Chile beach rescued

Santiago, April 28: Fifteen whales washed up on a beach in the northern Chilean city of Iquique were rescued by some 300 volunteers, police and navy personnel.

However, three of the cetaceans died hours later.

Experts say these whales are a deep-sea species that live 100 miles from the coast and could have come to the ground in pursuit of food.

Normal size of whale can be up to 16 feet and weigh as much as a ton, though the ones washed up on the Chilean beach were average 8-feet-long and weighed some 300 kg.

Coca-Cola to set up three new plants in China

Beijing, April 28: US soft-drink giant Coca-Cola will set up three new plants in China this year with an investment of $2 billion, the company said.

Two bottling plants will be opened in South China’s Guangdong Province and Hohhot, in north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, said Muhtar Kent, chairman and chief executive officer of Coca-Cola.

“We will also construct a new facility, which will be one of the largest plants we have in this country, in central China’s Henan Province this year,” said Kent.

UN Security Council undermining General Assembly: India

United Nations, April 28: India has said that the UN Security Council was persistently “encroaching” and “undermining” the work of the General Assembly as it asked for it’s revitalisation as the representative organ of the world body.

“A perception that the prerogatives and authority of the General Assembly have been undermined, in particular by the Security Council has gained ground,” said Hardeep Singh Puri, India’s ambassador to the UN.

Israel’s Netanyahu sees new talks with Palestinians

Jerusalem, April 28: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas “intends” to renew stalled peace negotiations, suggesting a breakthrough was possible after months of deadlock.

In a speech to his right-wing Likud faction in Tel Aviv, Netanyahu said talks with the Palestinians, which the United States has sought to convene, may resume as soon as next week.

Netanyahu also said he would visit Egypt, the first Arab country to sign a peace deal with Israel, for talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Monday.

Obama officials defy lawmakers in Fort Hood probe

Washington, April 28: The Obama administration defied U.S. lawmakers on Tuesday by providing some, but not all, information demanded in a Senate probe of the 2009 shooting rampage at Fort Hood, Texas, that left 13 soldiers dead and an Army psychiatrist charged with murder.

The Senate Homeland Security Committee, which subpoenaed the materials from the departments of Justice and Defence, called the response insufficient and said it was considering its options, which include holding the administration in contempt.

Shipa attacks BCCI for ‘erroneous comments’

New Delhi, April 28: Rajasthan Royals brand ambassador Shilpa Shetty today hit back at BCCI for raising doubts about her team’s ownership structure, saying the Board should not make “erroneous comments”.

BCCI president Shashank Manohar had raised doubts about Rajasthan Royals’ ownership structure which led to the Jaipur-based side releasing its shareholding pattern today.

Shilpa said any BCCI or government probe would be welcomed but would not accept any “erroneous comments” (from the BCCI).

U.S. reviewing tape of underwear bomber

Washington, April 28: U.S. investigators were reviewing a videotape of the accused underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab apparently receiving weapons training before he allegedly tried to blow up a U.S. airliner, Attorney General Eric Holder said on Tuesday.

ABC News broadcast the videotape on Monday in which Abdulmutallab, originally from Nigeria, made an apparent martyrdom statement in Arabic and also appears holding a machine gun at a desert training camp. ABC News said the video was produced by al Qaeda in Yemen.

India to get access to Headley

Washington, April 28: India seems to be close to getting direct access to Pakistani American terror suspect David Coleman Headley, key plotter in 26/11 Mumbai terror attack with US agreeing to take “suitable steps” to bring it about.

Modalities were discussed at a meeting Tuesday between India’s Solicitor General Gopal Subramanium and US Attorney General Eric Holder. Indian Ambassador Meera Shankar and other US Justice Department officials joined the talks.

Maoists getting weapons from Bodo ultras

Kolkata, April 28: Maoists have entered into an arms-exchange agreement with an underground extremist organisation in Assam, the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB).

As part of the deal, Maoists will receive highly sophisticated AK-series and Insas rifles, ammunition and China-made hand grenades from NDFB in return for liquid explosive Neogel 90. The ultra-Left organisation is procuring Neogel 90 from Nepal.
