Mumbai, July 30: Bhatti’s show on SAB TV “Thank You Jijaji’ is an adapted concept. Actually, the concept of the show is lifted from Jaspal’s very own, one hour Punjabi video film.

“We had seen the video and so we asked Bhattiji to make a comedy series on it. We have officially bought the rights for the concept,” marketing head Anooj Kapoor states.

“It is my original concept. Film was barely an hour long and the show is of 52 episodes. So we will be having only a backdrop of it,” clears Jaspal Bhatti.The show is conceptualised, written and directed by Jaspal Bhatti.

Hyderabad Cops solve Mumbai Model murder mystery

Hyderabad, July 29: Hyderabad Police arrested a 23-year-old junior artiste today for the murder of the Mumbai model and actor Arzoo Ali in a city lodge four days back.

The model, also a call girl had come to the city from Bangalore on July 19. She had resisted the junior artiste and pimp Jangam Rajeshwaraiah alias Raju’s attempt to rape her on July 25 morning at Sindhuri Lodge at Ramagopalpet in Secunderabad.

Rosaiah’s remark provokes Muddu

Hyderabad, July 29: TDP senior leader and MLA G Muddukrishnama Naidu today threatened to teach Legislative Affairs Minister K Rosaiah a fitting lesson on the floor of the House during the current budget session.

Opposition stages walkout in House

Salman Khan keeps low over Katrina and Aishwarya being called buffalo

Mumbai, July 29: In the reality show on Sony TV “Das Ka Dum”, the guest Dodhi said that he named his two buffalos by the name of two Bollywood actresses Katrina and Aishwarya.

Dodhi was scared of telling this fact in front of Salman Khan because Aishwarya was his ex-girlfriend and Katrina is the recent one. Thus, he said it very calmly to Salman so that Salman doesn’t get angry for this.

HC orders status quo on Metro Rail project

Hyderabad, July 29: Justice G Rohini of the Andhra Pradesh High Court today ordered status quo on the Hyderabad Metro Rail Project on a petition filed by the Maytas Consortium. However, the judge allowed the government to go ahead with the fresh global bid process for the project.

In her interim orders, Justice Rohini made it clear that the entire process would be subject to the final verdict of the court on the matter.

While posting further hearings on the issue to Aug 11, Justice Rohini asked the State government to file a counter by then.

Call for tree plantation, smaller electricity

50,000 apply for teaching jobs in a day in Mexico

Mexico City, July 29: The education ministry in Mexico has received about 50,000 applications for teacher posts in less than 24 hours following the government’s resolution to curb corruption in the country’s education system.

Don’t shut schools after swine flu scare, advises government

New Delhi, July 29: The Indian health ministry Wednesday asked educational institutes not to shut but take preventive measures to control the swine flu spread as 23 new cases of the influenza A(H1N1) were reported, taking the tally of the infected people in the country to nearly 500.
The government reiterated its advisory against visiting the flu-affected countries.

The total influenza A(H1N1) virus cases have reached 498 in India, a statement said.

Gujarat govt. allow girls to carry knife for safety

Blacklist IVRCL, Labour Department tells GHMC

Hyderabad, July 29: The Andhra Pradesh Labour Department swung into action following the tragic death of two workers who were buried alive under loose soil during sewer pipeline laying works at Ramanthapur on Monday. It has written to the GHMC and Municipal Administration officials to blacklist the IVR Constructions Limited which held the contract for the works and cancel all further orders.
