A 21-year-old man committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling allegedly due to failure in love.

According to the Jawaharnagar police, the deceased, J Raju, resorted to the extreme step at his residence in Sai Baba Nagar in Kapra on Wednesday night. (INN)

Two persons die due to electrocution

A 35-year-old electrician died of electrical burns injuries which he sustained at his workplace.

According to Vanasthalipuram police, the deceased, S Nagaraju, was electrocuted while doing some work at an under-construction building near his residence in Sharada Nagar of P&T Colony on Wednesday. He was admitted to a private hospital where he died a few hours after admission.

Three killed in train-related incidents

A 28-year-old man died on the spot after he was hit by a train between Kachiguda – Malakpet railway stations.

The incident happened on Wednesday evening. The deceased was later identified as B Arvind, a driver and resident of Tadbun in Secunderabad. He is suspected to have committed suicide by jumping in front of a running train, according to Kachiguda Railway Police.

In a similar case, 31-year-old M Satish was killed on the spot when he was hit by a train on the tracks between Vidyanagar and Jamia Osmania on Wednesday. He was a driver and resident of Ram Nagar in Musheerabad.

Kukatpally police retrieve body from lake

The Kukatpally police retrieved the body a 28-year-old man from IDL Cheruvu.

The deceased was later identified as M Satish Kumar @ Santosh, a resident of Kukatpally. He had left his home for work on June 23 and did not return. His body was found floating in IDL Cheruvu on Wednesday and was retrieved by the police. It is yet to be ascertained whether Santosh committed suicide or fell into the lake accidentally. (INN)

35yr old man killed in road accident

A 35-year-old man succumbed to the injuries when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by another bike in Kushaiguda police limits.

The accident occurred on June 23 when the victim, Balraj, was proceeding towards his house in Geminigadda. He was admitted to the Gandhi Hospital where he died on Wednesday night. (INN)

Over 99% candidates clear TS Ed.CET-2015

As many 99.04% candidates have cleared the TS Ed.CET-2015 whose results were declared here on Thursday.

The results were declared by Telangana State Council for Higher Education chairman Prof. T. Papi Reddy at the TSCHE office here. He informed that about 25,000 seats are available in 250 B.Ed Colleges across Telangana State. He said the notification for admission into B.Ed courses would be issued soon. ‘Cash for Vote’ is a criminal case: CEO

Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwarlal on Thursday stated that the ‘Cash for Vote’ is a criminal case involving corruption.

Speaking to media persons here, Bhanwarlal said that the case is being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Bureau and matter is presently going on in the court. He said a report has been sent to the Election Commission of India based on the evidences collected by the ACB. He said that the Commission would take action after court completes its hearing.

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education on Thursday informed all the Principals, Lecturers and students of intermediate education that the syllabi and textbooks of some subject have been revised from the academic year 2015-16.
