At a grand Passing out Parade of Constable Recruits of Railway Protection Force (RPF), held on Monday at 7th Battalion, Railway Protection Special Force Camp, Moula Ali, 200 RPF recruits, who have successfully completed a seven month’s rigorous initial training at this centre, were passed out with instruction to report to regular duty. These newly recruited RPF Constable will report for duty in Eastern Railway, Kolkata.

TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy, who was arrested in the ‘Cash for Vote’ case on May 31, has moved the Hyderabad High Court to seek bail.
Following rejection of bail by the Special Court for ACB Cases, Revanth Reddy’s lawyers on Monday moved a bail petition in the High Court. Stating that Revanth Reddy’s arrest was part of a larger political conspiracy, his lawyers appealed the High Court to grant bail and assured that he would abide by all the conditions.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Monday paid a visit to Finance Minister Eatala Rajender, who is undergoing treatment at the Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad.
Eatala was injured in a road accident near Karimnagar on June 13. His car turned turtle near Manakondur mandal while he was returning from an official function in Huzurabad Assembly constituency.
The Chief Minister enquired with Eatala about his health and wished him a speedy recovery. He also interacted with the doctors on the treatment being given to the minister. (INN)

A seven-year old boy of Shankar Nagar area in Malakpet washed away in the river Musi on Sunday morning.
According to the information, Tarun, younger son of Suri and Manga couple, accompanied by his brother nine-year old Varun went to Musi river bank to throw garbage into it in the morning. However, Tarun accidentally fell into the swirling waters. Varun vainly tried to rescue his younger brother due to heavy water flow in the river.
Two persons were killed in a road accident at Jagarlamudi under Pangaluru mandal of Prakasam district.
While the victims were coming in a Maruti car from Tirupati and proceeding towards Narsaraopeta, the ill-fated vehicle rammed a stationery lorry at Jagarlamudi. While Vijayalakshmi, 30, and K. Bharat, 18, died on the spot, the condition of grievously injured Lakshminarayana remained critical. Two other occupants Bhagyasri and Athmi escaped with simple injuries.
Mild tension prevailed at a meeting of Congress leaders at Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday when former minister and Greater Hyderabad Congress chief Danam Nagender and City Congress leader Niranjan crossed swords.
Later, Niranjan lodged a complaint with the TPCC alleging that Danam Nagender was not initiating steps for strengthening the party in Greater Hyderabad and not organizing any meetings across the City.

23-year-old student from here was today shot dead allegedly by unidentified men in the United States, the victim’s relatives said.
Four rounds were fired at Sai Kiran around 12.15 pm today after he refused to give his mobile phone which was demanded by the assailants, his uncle Shravan Kumar said.
“We received information from his friends that some people demanded his phone on which he was already talking. His friend on the other end of the call heard four rounds of gun shots being fired. We are awaiting more details,” Kumar told PTI.
