Kohli let off after anti-corruption code breach
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli was let off on Tuesday after being found guilty of violating the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) anti-corruption code.
Kohli met his girlfriend Bollywood star Anushka Sharma in the stands at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium during a rain-break in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Delhi Daredevils on Sunday, violating the anti-corruption code.
The match was abandoned due to rain.
Kohli was informed of the violation by BCCI anti-corruption unit head Ravi Sawani, reports Cricinfo on Tuesday.
