New political Telangana Party Nava Nirman Sena formed

(Siasat News)Another political party “Telangana Nava Nirman Sena” has been formed to fight for the cause of Telangana. President of the party Mr. K.Venkataiah announced it in a press conference held in Hyderabad. He told that although the fight for Telangana has been going on since 1956, the Central Govt. has set aside the demand for separate Telangana State. He blamed all the political parties that they are not serious for the cause of Telangana. He appealed to all these parties to fight unitedly.

Assam would become Kashmir-BJP

Mr. N.Ramachandra Rao, General Secretary of State BJP told the newsmen that if the Center fails to control the situation in Assam, it will become like Kashmir. He told that the infiltration from Bangladesh has to be stopped. They are posing a threat to Assam, Meghalayan and Manipur States. He claimed that 60% persons in Assam are Bangladeshis.

Partial funding for remodeling the heritage building –Metro Rail officials offer

(Siasat News)There is good news for the conservationists of heritage buildings that keeping in view the historical importance of some buildings, the authorities of Metro Rail have offered partial funding for the projects of remodeling such of the heritage building, which are getting affected due to the erection of railway track of Metro Rail.

Talking an initiative in this direction, the officials of Metro Rail have agreed to spend Rs.2 crore for the remodeling project of Moazzam Jahi Market, which costs Rs.16.375.

Despite payment of property tax notices were issued-owners complain

(Siasat News)There are many house owners in the city who never bothered to pay the property tax on time to Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation although they were informed many a time but there a few owners of the properties who paid property tax on time but GHMC has issued notices to them. They are warned that if they don’t pay the tax, they have to pay heavy fines. Such owners get perturbed. May complaints are being received that the owners of such properties were asked to pay the taxes with fine even though they had already paid them.

BUMCET candidates proceeded to Vijayawada for counseling

Engineering Web counseling starts tommorow

Through this counseling, students will get an opportunity to select the college of their choice.

Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority gets Rs.15 crore for Old City development

(Siasat News)Fulfilling his promise to develop Old City on the lines of the modern city of Hyderabad, Mr. N.Kiran Kumar Reddy, C.M. of A.P. has sanctioned Rs.15 crore for providing basic amenities to the residents of Old City.

This amount is in addition to the funds allocated to Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority earlier. C.M. has also sanctioned Rs. one lakh each to the victims of Naldurg in Maharastra who had met with an accident on 18th June.

Sub-Plan for Minorities-Congress leaders of Minority demand C.M.

(Siasat News)A delegation of Congress leaders belonging to Minorities met Mr. N.Kiran Kumar Reddy, C.M. of A.P. and demanded for the preparation of a Sub-Plan for Minorities and also to allocate Rs.5, 000 crore in the budget.

C.M. assured that the matter would be reviewed in the meeting of high-level officials, which would be convened soon.

BJP stalls parliament again over ‘quit PM’ demand

Both houses of parliament were disrupted again Thursday as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) persisted with its demand for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s resignation over coal block allocation.

Both the houses saw the first adjournments within minutes of proceedings beginning. When the two houses met at noon, the Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day after transacting some business amid din. The Rajya Sabha also conducted some business before it was adjourned till 2 p.m.

`China doesn’t want carrier competition with India’

China does not want to “engage in a carrier competition with the US or its Asian neighbours like India”, a state-run Chinese daily said Thursday.

An article in the Op-Ed section of the Global Times said: “…China has neither the desire nor the strength to engage in a carrier competition with the US or its Asian neighbors like India.”

“China won’t initiate a war, bully neighbors with which it has territorial disputes, and claim maritime hegemony. This is a cliched speculation held by those obsessed with the Cold War mentality, no matter how China explains its intentions,” it said.

Coal was not sold, so nobody benefited: Sibal

The government on Wednesday said there was no question of anyone benefiting from coal block allocation as the mineral were never sold and accused the BJP of raking up the issue for no reason because of its desperation to come to power at the Centre before 2014.

Telecom and HRD minister Kapil Sibal also rejected Opposition demand for cancellation of the licences for coal block allocation, saying such a step would cause huge monetary loss and badly affect the country’s power sector.

Germany to get first Islamic bank in October

Turkey’s Kuveyt Turk investment fund plans to open the first Islamic bank in Germany in October, the Financial Times Deutschland reported.

Kuveyt Turk plans to open its first branch, following the principles of the Islamic sharia law, in Frankfurt-am-Main in cooperation with Ernst & Young auditing company and Norton Rose law firm.

Sharia law prohibits a fixed or floating payment or acceptance of specific interest or fees on loans.

As for mortgages, the Islamic bank purchases houses and then sells it to a client for a higher price.

Probe ‘terrorist acts’ in Syria, says Russia

Russia insists that terrorist acts in Syria should be investigated with UN and Arab League representatives, the Russian foreign ministry said.

The ministry referred in particular to the mass killing of civilians in the Damascus suburb of Daraya, where, it said, more than 200 bodies were found.

“This is yet another crime of a provocative nature,” the ministry said in a statement.

“Moscow resolutely condemns these barbarous acts of violence. At the same time, we insist on a thorough and unbiased investigation into all the circumstances of the recent tragedies,” it said.

Prepare to take power: Germany, Italy tell Syrian opposition

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti have called on the Syrian opposition to prepare to take over power in the country.

“The Syrian opposition should prepare to take responsibility,” Merkel said Wednesday following a meeting with Monti.

The Italian prime minster said Italy was very concerned about the situation in Syria and emphasised that he agreed with Merkel on the issue of Syrian peace resolution.

Police arrested Mushtaq Ahmad Dar and his sisters Nasreen and Misra following the discovery of 20-year-old Zubaida’s body in the fields outside their Shoolipora village in Budgam district Aug 24.

Mr. Shabnawaz Khan, organizer told that even today 4.5 lakh Muslims are forced to live in refugee camps. Govt. relief is insufficient for them. Muslim organizations from all over India are engaged in relief work.
