The event was organized by the New York chapter of the Burma Task Force, in coordination with its members, the Burmese Rohingya Association of North America (BRANA) and Free Rohingya Campaign based in New York City.
UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi has assured Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki that the Centre would soon send a team to take stock of the damage caused by floods in the state.

City of Hyderabad is facing the spread of epidemic diseases these days.
These diseases are affecting the young children. Their parents are worried. Viruses and mosquitoes are disturbing the peaceful atmosphere of the City.
Municipal Corporation and Health Department are not doing anything to fight these epidemic diseases.
Spreading of insecticides in slum areas has not been proving effective. The indifference of GHMC is worrying the inhabitants of the City.
Central Minister, Mr. Vayalar Ravi told that no decision has been taken so far to merge TRS into Congress Party. About the formation of Telangana also, no decision has been taken yet. The issue of change of leadership in A.P. is not under consideration with the Congress High Command.
