Seven FIFA officials, who have been accused of bribery and corruption recently, were treated as privileged guests by the staffers of the historic five-star Baur au Lac hotel in Zurich till the end when they were arrested on May 27.

Coast Guard aircraft missing for second day, search intensified

The Coast Guard on Wednesday intensified its search for its missing airplane after a Dornier Aircraft CG-791, which was deployed for maritime surveillance, failed to return for a second day running.

Ministry of Defence principal spokesperson Sitanshu Kar shared the information via a series of tweets.

A new survey has revealed that that people would rather have a plumber, electrician or doctor as a neighbor than politicians or footballers.

The survey of 2,000 adults found that skilled workers were the most valued neighbours, rather than professionals such as lawyers or musicians, the Mirror reported.

Education charity the Edge Foundation said its study found that people often call on a neighbour for practical help if a boiler or car breaks down, while few think of asking someone for legal or medical advice.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has informed banned spin bowler Raza Hasan to approach the Court of Arbitration Sports (CAS) in order to appeal against the two-year ban imposed on him on the charges of doping.
