Pop star Selena Gomez has teamed up with ASAP Rocky for her new single “Good for You”.

The 22-year-old singer confirmed the collaboration on Instagram, where she also shared a snippet from the recording of the track.

“Good for You” is expected to premiere on June 22.

ASAP Rocky recently released his new album, which features Rod Stewart, Kanye West, Mark Ronson and Rita Ora.

Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt conceded defeat general election and resigned as Social Democratic party leader after a record score for an anti-immigration party lifted the opposition right-wing bloc to victory.

“Dear friends, I have decided to step down and therefore our party now has to find another leader,” she said, her voice shaking yesterday.

Fourth alleged IS suspect arrested in NY area

A fourth US citizen has been arrested in the greater New York area in less than a week on allegations of supporting the Islamic State extremist group, officials said.

Samuel Rahamin Topaz, 21, from Fort Lee, New Jersey, was charged with conspiracy to provide material support to the IS group, which has declared a “caliphate” based in Iraq and Syria.

He faces 15 years in prison if convicted and was remanded without bail after being arrested at home on Wednesday, prosecutors said yesterday.

Dengue fever outbreak infects thousands in war-torn Yemen

Thousands of people have been diagnosed with dengue fever in southern Yemen, where fighting has raged for months between Shiite rebels and their opponents, international organisations and health officials have said.

The top health ministry official in the southern port city of Aden, al-Khadr Al-Aswar, said yesterday that at least 5,000 people have been diagnosed with the mosquito-borne virus. He said mountains of uncollected garbage, along with untreated sewage and heat, have contributed to the spread of the disease.

UNICEF: 129 children killed in South Sudan fighting in May

At least 129 children were killed, with boys castrated and girls raped, during a government offensive against rebels last month in South Sudan, according to the UN children’s agency.

South Sudanese military spokesman, Col. Philip Aguer, yesterday questioned the credibility of the report, saying it is not in South Sudanese culture to commit such atrocities and has called for a full investigation.

UNICEF Executive Director Anthony Lake said in a statement Wednesday that survivors reported that boys were castrated and left to bleed out, while girls were gang raped and killed.

The Nasdaq powered to a fresh record today, easily topping the prior all-time high in a broad rally that withstood signs that a Greek debt default could be moving closer.

At the closing bell, the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite was at 5,132.95, up 68.07 points (1.34 percent), more than 25 points above the May 27 record close. The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 178.43 (0.99 percent) to 18,114.17, while the broad-based S&P 500 gained 20.51 (0.98 percent) at 2,120.95.

Final UN shelter in Gaza closes, many remain homeless

The UN has closed the last remaining shelter for Palestinians displaced in last summer’s war in Gaza, a spokesman said today, with families seeking temporary accommodation elsewhere.

The July-August conflict between Israel and Islamist movement Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip, left 100,000 Gazans homeless and forced many to seek refuge in schools belonging to the UN’s Palestinian refugee agency, UNRWA.

“Some 30 families left the shelter of the Bahrain school (in western Gaza City), where up to 1,100 displaced people had been living,” UNRWA spokesman Adnan Abu Hasna told AFP.

Country’s second-largest private sector lender, HDFC Bank today launched a 10-second paperless instant loan plan for its existing customers.

“HDFC Bank will now disburse personal loans to its customers in just 10 seconds. With this product, existing customers will have a pre-approved loan amount available to them 24×7,” the bank said in a statement.

The entire process of availing the loan is completely paperless, and users can simply log into their bank account via net-banking or mobile banking and avail of this loan at a click, it added.

Indian money in Swiss banks falls by over 10% to Rs 12,615 cr

Money held by Indians in Swiss banks fell by over 10 per cent last year to 1.8 billion Swiss franc (about Rs 12,615 crore), amid an enhanced clampdown against the famed secrecy wall of Switzerland’s banking system by Indian and other governments.

The funds held by Indians with banks in Switzerland fell by CHF 215 million to CHF 1,815 million (1.98 billion in the US dollar terms), from 2,030 million Swiss franc, as per the latest data released today by the country’s central banking authority SNB (Swiss National Bank).
