Actor Irrfan Khan has shot down rumours of playing the titular role in director Omung Kumar’s upcoming film “Sarabjit”, a biopic on the slain Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh.

Police say they have found “no evidence” to suggest a copy of EL James’s latest “Fifty Shades” novel was stolen ahead of its release.
Publisher Random House had reported to police it discovered a finished copy of the book had gone missing last Monday, reported E!Online.
But Kent Police said it found no proof a crime had taken place.
The book, which re-tells the first instalment of the hit trilogy from billionaire Christian Grey’s point of view, is due to be released on June 18.

Amid raging Lalitgate row, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today cancelled her visit to Punjab where she would have come face-to-face with BJP president Amit Shah for the first time since the damaging revelations.
“Due to back pain, the Chief Minster’s doctor has advised her to take rest so she has cancelled her visit to Punjab today,” Raje’s press advisor said.
A large quantity of explosives, including 110 detonators and 131 gelatin sticks, have been seized from an illegal granite quarry near Srivilliputhur here, police said.
Besides the detonators and gelatin sticks, 600 detonating chords and 60 metres of fuse wire were found buried in a pit at the quarry yesterday during a raid by ‘Q’ branch police, they said.
The manager of the quarry has been arrested.
Police are also on the lookout for another person who buried the explosives and supplied them from Tirunelveli.
