Indore, Febuary 18 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Gadkari Thursday called upon Muslims to help build a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Addressing the party’s national council here, he said the BJP was fully committed to construct the temple at the site where the 16th century Babri mosque was razed by a mob in December 1992.

120 lashes for Saudi policeman with six wives

Riyadh, February 18: A Saudi court has sentenced an employee of the kingdom’s religious police to 120 lashes for marrying six women.

5000 T-advocate will march to Parliament

Hyderabad, February 18: About 5,000 advocates from Telangana region will take out a huge rally to Parliament on February 22 in support of a separate Telangana state.

SDPI MP Unit to launch campaign to strengthen party

Bhopal, February 16 (Pervez Bari): The Madhya Pradesh unit of Social Democratic Party of India, (SDPI), will launch party strengthening campaign by recruiting cadres from all over the state. “In the last 24 hours, a total of 1,023 Sainiks have been arrested. While 955 were picked up under the preventive action, the rest were put behind bars for different cases, including for protesting outside the theatre, vandalising screens among others,” police said.
