Hailing the Cabinet Sub-Committee’s report on the SC/ST Sub-Plan, Rajya Sabha member K Chiranjeevi on Sunday appealed to the State Government to consider a similar sub-plan for the Backward Classes in the State.

Telugu Desam Telangana Forum Convenor Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Saturday set two-day deadline for the State Government to resolve the power crisis in the State.

Police took TRS MLAs into custody when they tried to begin hunger strike at the Vidyut Soudha, headquarters of the State Electricity Board here on Tuesday.
