MAKING SPACE FOR OUR FUTURE

Imagine a Masjid where the Imam pauses during Salah and the entire congregation waits so a toddler can finish his game. Imagine a Masjid where an Imam leads Salah while he holds a child in his arms. Imagine a Masjid where the cry of a baby changes the Imam’s intention and shortens the prayer for the entire congregation.

This was the Masjid of the Prophet Muhammad, SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam. These examples are mentioned in the following Hadith:

HOW TO REPENT FROM SINS AND ASK FOR ALLAH’S FORGIVENESS

This article focuses on how one can repent for the sins committed, and to earn Allah’s pleasure for asking for such forgiveness. As Allah the Most Caring assures us:

“Say: O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily, Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
(Surah Az-Zumar 39:53)

He also says in the Quran:

“Indeed Allah loves those who repent and purify themselves.”
(Surah Al Baqarah, 2:222)

HOW MERCIFUL IS ALLAH!

Praise be to Allah.

Allah is the Most Merciful, Most Compassionate, and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy. His Mercy encompasses all things. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“… and My Mercy embraces all things.”
(7:156)

In Saheeh Muslim it is narrated from Abu Hurayrah (RadiyAllahu Anhu) that the Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) said:

SEVENTY THREE BENEFITS OF ZIKR – IMAM IBN QAYYIM (RA) – (2)

40) Zikr does not allow one’s heart to suffer from forgetfulness, which leads to ignoring one’s ultimate interest.

41) Zikr is just like a tree whose fruit is realization of Almighty Allah Ta’ala. More a person engages himself in the Zikr, stronger shall grow the root of this tree and more abundant will it bear the fruits.

42) Zikr of Almighty Allah Ta’ala promotes nearness to Him and thereby one earns His constant patronage. It is mentioned in the Quran.

SEVENTY THREE BENEFITS OF ZIKR – IMAM IBN QAYYIM (RA) – (1)

Hafiz Ibn Qayyim (RA), a well-known Muhadith (A scholar of traditions), has written an authentic book, ‘Al-Waabilus Sayyib’, on the virtues of Zikr, which are more than one hundred and he has listed seventy nine of these, which are briefly given below in the same order. Some of these include multiple benefits, in that case their actual number exceeds more than one hundred:

1) Zikr keeps away the Shaitân and weakens his strength.

2) It is the cause of Almighty Allah Ta’ala’s pleasure.

3) It relieves the mind from anxieties and worries.

THE WISEST AND THE MOST FAR-SIGHTED PERSON!!!

The method of Rasoolullaah’s (SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) teaching was as unique as he himself was. He never discouraged Muslims from asking reasonable questions. Rather, he used to encourage them by commenting that sensible queries are the gateway to learning. Due to such encouragement, many students used to ask him questions. Once, a Muslim visited the noble Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) and requested him:

‘Ya Rasoolallaah! Tell us who is the wisest and most far-sighted among us?’

He (SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) replied:

JEWELS OF QUR’AN!

Isa bin Muhammad (Alaihir Rahmah) says that I once saw Abu Bakr bin Mujahid (Alaihir Rahmah) after his death in a dream reading the Holy Quran. I asked, “You have died, how are you reciting,” upon which he said, “After every Salah and finishing of the Quran, I would pray “O Allah, give me the Taufiq to recite the Quran in my grave” and that is why I am praying.” (Faizan-e-Sunnat)

Ahadith

The Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) said:

“MUSLIM MARRIAGE” – RIGHTS AND RESPONDING TO CHALLENGES

Every marriage – no matter how stressful, boring, or happy it may be – can use certain tips to give it a boost. This post reviews two pieces of advice that you could implement today for a better married life. If you’re not married, you too can benefit from the concepts as they are applicable across the board.

Good manners are as important as good grades

Nabee E Kareem, SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam, was an excellent example of good manners. This facet of his personality was known to Muslims as well as non-Muslims during his life. When the noble Qur’aan declared him to be a role model for high moral character, none of his contemporary disbelievers went on record to disagree with this Qur’anic statement.

The extraordinary importance of good manners is clear by the fact that Rasool-e-Akram, SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam, himself used to pray to Allaah to inculcate them in his personality. One of his sincere Du’aas reads:

METHODS OF RELIGIOUS TRAINING

BE A MODEL TO YOUR CHILDREN:

Actions speak louder than words. No pieces of advice of a parent refrains child from backbiting if the child often hears the parents backbiting themselves. When the child is exposed to these vices, it is very likely that he will grow up following the same. A good example from the parent works even without words. Although it may seem a huge task to be able to be a good model for the child, parents should know that it is the only way they can really teach their children. No other way is as effective as mentioned.

RELATE STORIES:

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HOPE AND SUCCESS IN THE FAMILY.

Everyone looks towards his/her future life either by planning or by daydreaming about what can happen. Human beings live with hope and struggle. A mother feeds her baby with hope. A farmer plants his seeds with hope. A young man marries with hope of a family and prosperous future and independence from his family.

TWELVE RIGHTS OF A MUSLIM WIFE UPON HER HUSBAND

Below are the 12 rights of a muslim wife upon her husband in Islam:

1. To spend upon her, to feed her. Not to be excessive in this and not to be stingy.

2. To be kind to her. The Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “The best among you is the one who is the best towards his wife.”

3. Not to harm her.

4. To be loving to her, examples:

– Loving to her with your tongue. Nice words, tell her you love her. Tell her how good she looks.

– If your wife asks you to get her something and you can’t get it , say I’ll get it inshaa’Allaah.
