Mumbai, July 06: Aashka Goradia who was last seen in Madhur Bhandarkar’s mini-series on Sony has been busy these days with her production company. Mirabell is the name by which her company holds events for the corporate companies.

“I’ve been busy with the events for some corporate companies. This keeps me on my toe and it feels good to do something different. These events are very private and not commercialised,” says Aashka.

Priyanka’s embarrassing kissing experience

Mumbai, July 06: Dunno if Priyanka Kothari can say, ‘never been kissed’ or not. But recently she had a very embarrassing experience, not kissing but while shooting for the Kiss Mix song for her upcoming horror flick Agyaat.

“My first day on the sets of DID was ok, as I was new to them and vice-versa. The contestants as well as judges were very warm and nice to me but it was more like a professional relation than a friendly one. Though I still enjoyed my stint and believe that as the day passes, we will know each other in better way,” states Shweta.

Mumbai, July 06: Bollywood actors John Abraham and Katrina Kaif have been voted as the most eligible single celebrities in an online poll.

The poll conducted by matrimonial website shaadi.com saw responses from over 18,000 netizens, a statement from the company said Friday.

Nearly 48 percent of males voted for Katrina as the most eligible single female and 43 percent females named John as their favoured eligible bachelor.

Mumbai, July 06: Britain-born model-turned-actress Katrina Kaif has improvised her acting skills and accent since her debut in the 2003 dud “Boom” to such an extent that she is bagging praise for her work from her directors like Kabir Khan and Prakash Jha.

Khan had praised Katrina’s performance in his hit “New York” and told IANS: “Katrina has done a wonderful job in the film…she has been a revelation”.

Jha had also praised the actress for her confident Hindi speech and accent in his forthcoming film “Rajneeti” saying, “Katrina Kaif is such a revelation.”

$400m debt killed Michael Jackson, says friend

London, July 06: Lou Ferrigno, the “Incredible Hulk” star who was training Michael Jackson for his gruelling 50-date London tour, has claimed the singer was killed by the weight of his $400 million debt.

He said the only reason Jackson, who died last month in Los Angeles, was going back on stage was to clear his debt.

“He was under tremendous stress, so much (that) I think it killed him. He was $400 million in debt. In the past he had backed out of doing live shows but this time he was under the gun. The debts put a huge strain on him,” mirror.co.uk quoted Ferrigno as saying.

The song, a disco number that has been picturised on Shahid and theatre actor Chandan Sanyal, hasn’t been choreographed. The actors have come up with their own moves for the song.

Mumbai, July 06: On Sunday evening, Deepika Padukone and dad Pakash Padukone played a doubles badminton match against Aamir Khan and Aparna Popat, at the annual tournament for the Padukone Academy run by the one-time badminton champion.

Even though the actress lost the match against Aamir, Deepika believes it’s the sportsmanship that won at the end of the day. In her words, “I know that Aamir plays badminton at the Khar gym. He’s extremely fit and a great player. It was an incredible experience to play opposite him.”

Shruti Haasan says it’s no big deal to don swimwear for a film

Shruti’s skinfest in a bikini for Luck was because as is it is said in B-Town lingo the scene needed it.

Says Shruti, “When Soham narrated the script, I did not even consider the bikini thing as a big deal it was logical to the premise. While shooting for it, the weather was very weird that day. It was freezing cold, but apart from that it was like any other scene in the film for me.”
