Rocker Gwen Stefani has revealed that she never thought that she will ever become a Grammy winner and best-selling artiste.

Stefani, 45, said that the biggest surprise in her career was that she even has a career as she was just a normal girl in a music band, reported E!Online.

“I was just this girl from Orange County who was in a band with my friends. Then they kept letting me do more and more and more. The biggest surprise in my career is that I have a career,” she said.

The singer recently collaborated with MasterCard for their Priceless Surprises campaign.

JK Rowling has now denied reports that she is releasing 12 new ‘Harry Potter’ short stories this month via her popular site Pottermore.

The British novelist has mentioned that the media reports incorrectly assumed that she was promising new stories, the New York Daily News reported.

The 49-year-old has added new stories to the site in 2014, including one released mid-summer about Potter and the rest of the gang post-Hogwarts. She also released a bunch of tales including a Dolores Umbridge backstory and the history of Quidditch.
