Bollywood actress Dimple Kapadia says that she likes her actor son-in-law Akshay Kumar in comedy roles.

“I think Akshay is great, he is lovely. We share lovely relationship which I really treasure. He is mad and so am I. We get along very well.

“We have very cool relationship. I like his work. I like him in comedy. He is very good at comedy. I enjoy watching his films,” Dimple told PTI.

The 56-year-old actress said she and Akshay discuss about films and also give feedback on each other’s work.

Superstar Aamir Khan’s director wife Kiran Rao finds it difficult to stay with a person who is a public figure.

In the upcoming episode of ‘Koffee with Karan’ Karan asks Aamir whether he is easy to live with to which the latter replies in affirmative. However, Kiran, accompanying her husband on the show, has a different viewpoint.

“It is difficult to live with a person who has this huge life around him. It is not a normal life by any standard. I have lived a very normal life up until I came around Aamir,” Kiran said.

Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Uday Chopra held a press conference at the Yashraj studios to promote their upcoming action thriller, Dhoom 3, in Mumbai.

Speaking on the occasion, the 37-year-old ‘Bol Bachchan’ star said, “I firmly feel having been part of 1 and 2 that Dhoom 3 is very different from them. I like to believe that we have gone a few steps ahead”.

Femina Miss World India Navneet Kaur Dhillon today said she would love to act with Ranbir Kapoor.

“Ranbir is experimenting a lot. So would like to act with him,” Navneet, who is keen to foray into Bollywood, told reporters here.

Among actresses Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra inspire her, Navneet said. However, she does not have a role model, she added.

Navneet, who has just returned from Bali after the Miss World contest, where she came 11th, said she was looking for good Bollywood films.

Superstar Aamir Khan says he has no expectations from his upcoming film ‘Dhoom 3’ in terms of box office business, but is concerned about how the audience will accept the much-awaited movie.

“I have no expectation from ‘Dhoom 3’ (about box office collection). I am not thinking about all this. It is important that audience should have a great time and love the film,” Aamir told reporters here last evening.

Actress Katrina Kaif, who has been romantically linked to Ranbir Kapoor, has made light of Kareena Kapoor’s ‘sister-in-law’ comment on a TV chat show and said it was made in jest and not meant to be taken seriously.

Kareena had described Katrina as her would be ‘sister- in-law’ on the show Koffee With Karan, in reply to a question by its host filmmaker Karan Johar.

This particular episode of the show featured Kareena and Ranbir, who are cousins.

The trailer of Yash Raj Films’ ‘Gunday’, starring Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, will be unveiled at the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF).

The much-awaited trailer will be launched on December 13 at the Madinat theatre in the presence of the film’s actors
Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra along with director Ali Abbas Zafar, according to an official statement.

Gunday’ will be the first Indian film to have its trailer premier at DIFF, it said.

Newcomer Elli Avram says she will not take Bollywood star Salman Khan`s marriage proposal seriously.

Salman, who is known for his witty side, was seen flirting with Elli a number of times during her stint on reality TV show `Bigg Boss`, which the `Dabangg` star hosts.

“I will not take his (Salman`s) proposal seriously,” Elii joked.

Walt Disney Studios today announced their next film ‘Khoobsurat’, in which they have teamed up with actor-producer Anil Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor.

‘Khoobsurat’, which is to be directed by writer and ace ad film director Shashank Ghosh, will star Sonam Kapoor in a lead role.

“For a long time now we were looking for a script with Disney’s values and we’re happy to have found that in ‘Khoobsurat’. We are also looking forward to working with Anil Kapoor Film Company on this lovely film,” said Rucha Pathak, Senior Creative Director – Studios, Disney UTV.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says he does not like India being called a developing nation.

“I feel proud of the fact that those very things that India was once criticised for, like our growth of population, etc is now looked upon by developed nations for great consumer consumption. It goes well. I hate India being called as a developing nation. I want it to be known as a developed nation. I think we are moving forward in that direction,” Bachchan said at a function here last evening.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan feels Aamir Khan is the finest actor and an inspiration for the kind of work he has done in ‘Dhoom 3’.

“He is the finest actor the country has. For his role (in ‘Dhoom 3’) he required that kind of body. He does some trapeze work in the film… For him to work out that way (to have a perfect body) it is fantastic and inspiring,” Shah Rukh said here at an event last evening.

“Aamir leads the way and is always an inspiration like this not only physically and mentally but with the kind of job and work he does. I really appreciate it,” he said.

Saluja worked for months on finer details and piece together the costumes befitting Madhuri, who plays the role of Begum Para in Vishal Bharadwaj’s home production, a comedy- thriller set for release next month.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has rubbished reports suggesting that he is in talks to star opposite veteran actress Rekha in a YRF film.

According to reports, Aditya Chopra was said to bring Rekha and Bachchan on-screen together again. The two last worked in 1981 hit ‘Silsila’.

“I am not doing it. I read it (media report) but there is no truth to it. But if you known anybody there (at YRF) then suggest my name. As today it is difficult to get work,” the legendary actor said at a function here.

British actress-singer Sofia Hayat tonight became the latest contestant to be evicted from the controversial ‘Bigg Boss’ house.

The 28-year-old ‘Superdude’ host said she was happy to be out of the show as she was unable to cope with the situations in the house.

“I feel relieved that I am free at last. I am really happy to be out of that house. I don’t think I could have survived there any more,” Sofia told PTI after her eviction.

Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan has revealed that despite coming from a royal family, she would choose street fashion any day over runway fashion. When the ‘Rang De Basanti’ actress was asked by L’officiel Magazine whether her go to choice as a princess is runway fashion, she said that runway style is meant for seven-foot tall models, whereas street fashion is more fun and offers a broader canvas to play with. Actress Deepika Padukone does not regret being unable to make her Hollywood debut with ‘Fast and Furious 7’ and says she is open to doing films in the West even if the role is small.

Deepika was offered to be a part of ‘Fast and Furious 7’ movie, but she could not do it because of her commitments to the makers of ‘Ram Leela’.

Veteran actress Sarika is excited about her younger daughter Akshara Haasan’s acting debut. But the star mom doesn’t want to share any tips with her as she believes the latter should find her own way.

“Every generation has its own working style. We can share with them what we like about cinema because I don’t know anything else. I only know cinema, so I can share that. But I must let my daughter find her own way because it will be different,” Sarika told IANS.
