Akshay is very good at comedy, says mom-in-law Dimple Kapadia

Bollywood actress Dimple Kapadia says that she likes her actor son-in-law Akshay Kumar in comedy roles.

“I think Akshay is great, he is lovely. We share lovely relationship which I really treasure. He is mad and so am I. We get along very well.

“We have very cool relationship. I like his work. I like him in comedy. He is very good at comedy. I enjoy watching his films,” Dimple told PTI.

The 56-year-old actress said she and Akshay discuss about films and also give feedback on each other’s work.

Superstar Aamir Khan’s director wife Kiran Rao finds it difficult to stay with a person who is a public figure.

In the upcoming episode of ‘Koffee with Karan’ Karan asks Aamir whether he is easy to live with to which the latter replies in affirmative. However, Kiran, accompanying her husband on the show, has a different viewpoint.

“It is difficult to live with a person who has this huge life around him. It is not a normal life by any standard. I have lived a very normal life up until I came around Aamir,” Kiran said.

Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Uday Chopra held a press conference at the Yashraj studios to promote their upcoming action thriller, Dhoom 3, in Mumbai.

Femina Miss World India Navneet Kaur Dhillon today said she would love to act with Ranbir Kapoor.

“Ranbir is experimenting a lot. So would like to act with him,” Navneet, who is keen to foray into Bollywood, told reporters here.

Among actresses Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra inspire her, Navneet said. However, she does not have a role model, she added.

Aamir Khan has no box office expectations from ‘Dhoom 3’

Superstar Aamir Khan says he has no expectations from his upcoming film ‘Dhoom 3’ in terms of box office business, but is concerned about how the audience will accept the much-awaited movie.

“I have no expectation from ‘Dhoom 3’ (about box office collection). I am not thinking about all this. It is important that audience should have a great time and love the film,” Aamir told reporters here last evening.

Kareena’s sister-in-law comment made in jest: Katrina

Actress Katrina Kaif, who has been romantically linked to Ranbir Kapoor, has made light of Kareena Kapoor’s ‘sister-in-law’ comment on a TV chat show and said it was made in jest and not meant to be taken seriously.

Kareena had described Katrina as her would be ‘sister- in-law’ on the show Koffee With Karan, in reply to a question by its host filmmaker Karan Johar.

This particular episode of the show featured Kareena and Ranbir, who are cousins.

‘Gunday’ trailer to be launched at Dubai film fest

The trailer of Yash Raj Films’ ‘Gunday’, starring Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, will be unveiled at the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF).

The much-awaited trailer will be launched on December 13 at the Madinat theatre in the presence of the film’s actors
Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra along with director Ali Abbas Zafar, according to an official statement.

Gunday’ will be the first Indian film to have its trailer premier at DIFF, it said.

Anil Kapoor, Disney India team up for ‘Khoobsurat’

Walt Disney Studios today announced their next film ‘Khoobsurat’, in which they have teamed up with actor-producer Anil Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor.

‘Khoobsurat’, which is to be directed by writer and ace ad film director Shashank Ghosh, will star Sonam Kapoor in a lead role.

“For a long time now we were looking for a script with Disney’s values and we’re happy to have found that in ‘Khoobsurat’. We are also looking forward to working with Anil Kapoor Film Company on this lovely film,” said Rucha Pathak, Senior Creative Director – Studios, Disney UTV.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has rubbished reports suggesting that he is in talks to star opposite veteran actress Rekha in a YRF film.
