Russia is planning to set up an aerospace university to produce a new generation of professionals for the aviation and space industries, a minister said.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said: “We have plans connected with the creation of a modern aerospace university, where we will produce a broad range of specialists, for aviation, and also the rocket and space industries.”

Rogozin Saturday visited the Khrunichev rocket factory, north of Moscow, and invited specialists from the centre to discuss the plan.

According to Prof. Baig Ehsas head of the department Central University of Hyderabad, notification has been issued for admission into 5 year integrated programme of M.A Urdu for the academic year 2012-13.

Atleast 60 percent marks in intermediate are compulsory for admission. Students who have appeared for intermediate or equivalent exam and are awaiting their results and their results are likely to be announced till July 31, 2012 are eligible to apply.

Last date to submit applications for entrance test of M.A., M. Com., M.Sc. and M.Ed. courses of Osmania University without late fee is May 4.

Forms must be submitted at Directorate of admission, Osmania University campus along with the DD.

Candidates who have passed or appeared degree final year are eligible for PG entrance test in their respective subject.

Maulana Azad National Urdu University the only university offering courses at higher level through Urdu medium, has introduced five new regular courses i.e., Ph. D. Arabic, M. A. in Political Science, P.G. Diploma in Graphic & Animation, Functional Hindi & Translation & a Certificate programme in Arabic. The criteria for admission into PG Diploma in Graphic & Animation is Graduate from any recognized University/institution. Graduate/equivalent degree holder with at least 40% marks in aggregate is eligible for admission into M.A. (Pol. Science).

The UGC-NET Coaching Centre at Maulana Azad National Urdu University will arrange the coaching classes for the NET exam from May 21. According to Coordinator UGC NET coaching for minorities, students appearing for NET exam scheduled to be held on 24th June 2012 can benefit from the classes.

Andhra Pradesh State Minorities Finance Corporation is depositing central government’s pre matric scholarship directly into the bank accounts of minority students however the students whose bank accounts are not available their scholarship is not being sent.

The scholarship is not being issued to those students also whose school administration has not submitted fee structure.

With the Supreme Court upholding the constitutional validity of Right to Education Act, the government today dismissed suggestions that the burden which private schools will have to bear to implement it will be passed on to the students.

The RTE Act mandates the schools to provide free education upto 25 per cent of the students from economic weaker section between 6 to 14 years of age.

Mock test for polytechnic entrance test is being conducted on Sunday April 15, at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall, Siasat premises Abids from 8 to 11 am.

SSC passed or appeared students can appear the test.

OMR sheet can be filled with the help of pencil. The mock test will help the students to understand CEEP exam.
