Minor fell in sump, dies
(Siasat News): A one and half year old girl fell in a water sump at Raidurgam and died. The deceased Deepika was the daughter of one Dayakar, resident of Sherilingampally.

On December 13, she was playing near house and had accidentally fallen into the sump and was severely injured, she was admitted in the hospital but died during the treatment.

Mystery of chowkidar murder solved
(Siasat News): Panjagutta police has solved the murder mystery of a chowkidar and arrested three persons. DCP west zone Mr. Satyanarayana while addressing a press conference, said this.

He presented the accused before the media and said that the theft was the motive behind the killing. The deceased and the accused were friends and used to booze together.

Fake gold loan racket unearthed, 3 arrested

City police has unearthed a fake gold loan racket and arrested 3 people. Police recovered cash and house from their possession. DCP CCS Mr. G Pala Raju told in a press conference that the 3 men who worked in Sriram City Union Finance ltd. Himayatnagar as executives collected ID proofs of existing customers, staff without their knowledge and created loan applications and forge their signatures and without deposit of any gold, they used to draw the cash from the cash chest which is in their joint possession.

Woman missing from Airport
((Siasat News): A woman passenger went missing from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. According to the details, the passenger Aizza Ali Qamsi, 21, resident of Kishanbaug,landed at Hyderabad from Sharjah along with her mother and brother.

While mother and brother got busy in clearing their luggage, Aizza Ali went missing. They tried to find out the woman everywhere in the vicinity but all their efforts failed.

Girl’s mysterious death, lover arrested
(Siasat News): A 19-year-old girl died in Cyberabad limits in mysterious circumstances. Police has registered a case of murder and arrested the girl’s lover.

According to the details, the deceased Ashwini was in love with a boy Kumar, 21 who used to live in her neighbourhood and has been working at Shamshabad Airport’s cargo section.

Man found dead under Tolichowki flyover

A 30-year-old was found dead under the Tolichowki flyover on Sunday. Sunkanna, a daily wage earner, who hailed from Kurnool, had arrived to the city in search of livelihood. His body was found next to the pylon of the under-construction flyover. It is believed that his death occurred when some vehicle went over his head. He was last seen by his friends at Hyderguda in an inebriated condition.

Labourer found dead under mysterious circumstance

A 27 year-old-man was found dead under suspicious circumstances at Tolichowki on Sunday morning.

The deceased was later identified as M. Sukanna, a construction worker from Banjara Hills. He was found lying on the roadside at Tolichowki junction with an injury on his leg. Police suspect that he might have been hit by a vehicle. However, the exact cause of his death is yet to be ascertained.

The Langar Houz police began investigations and shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for post-mortem. (INN)

Housewife dies of burn injures, she suffered while cooking food

A 47-year-old woman died of burn injuries which she suffered while cooking food.

According to Banjara Hills police, the deceased, Farzana Begum, sufferred burn injuries at her residence in Khaja Nagar of Banjara Hills on December 17. She was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital for treatment where she succumbed on Sunday morning. (INN)

Woman’s body fished out from lake

A 35-year-old unidentified woman’s body was found in a lake in Ibrahimpatnam police limits.

According to police, the woman’s body was found in the lake on Friday evening. She was clad in a red saree and blouse. Police suspect that she might have accidentally slipped and was drowned into the lake. The body has been retrieved from the lake and preserved in the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for autopsy and identification. (INN)

Three commits suicide for different reasons.

In separate cases, three persons committed suicide due to different reasons.

In Nacharam police limits, 47-year-old House wife P Rajyalaxmi wife of Yadaiah committed suicide by hanging at his residence in Mallapur of Nacharam. He took the extreme step on Friday night.

According to police, Rajyalaxmi took the the extreme step due to the stomach pain he was suffering from for last few months.

Two killed in road accidents in Hyd

A 25-year-old man died undergoing treatment when the bike he was riding and hit by another bike near Banjarahills road no 2.

According to Banjara hills police, the accident occurred on Friday afternoon hours.Immediately shifted to osmania General hospital where deceased was died on night hours. The deceased was later identified as J Shanker, a Private employee and resident of Filmnagar of Banjara hills.

Painter dies after falling from height

A 22-year-old Painter died of injuries which he suffered after falling down from the second floor of a building.

According to Saifabad police, the deceased, A Prasad, a resident of NTR Nagar L B Nagar, accidentally fell down from the second floor of an building while working on Friday evening at Chintal Basti. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. (INN)

4 yr old girl molested

Malkajgiri police arrested a man on Thursday who sexually assaulted a four-year-old girl who was visiting her cousin in his neighbourhood. According to reports Samuel, a medical representative, lured the girl by offering her chocolates.

The matter came to fore when the girl complained of pain in her private parts. After further interrogation the parents found out what had happened and they immediately lodged a complaint with the police.

Infant’s dead body found
(Siasat News): Marredpally police has recovered a dead body of an infant from the concourse of Jubilee Bus station.

Police had received an anonymous call about the dead body a team immediately reached there. The dead body was lying near Karimnagar bus platform.

A case has been registered and investigations are on to trace the parents of the deceased.

18KG gold seized from trio at Shamshabad Airport

The Customs officials at Rajiv International Airport at Shamshabad on Friday took three international gold smugglers into custody and recovered 18kg yellow metal from their possession.
The accused were identified as Mruganandan, Zainuddin Mohammedullah Haji Mohammed of Singapore. The trio was illegally trying to transport the precious metal from Singapore. They alighted from Tiger airplane belonging to Thai Airlines and landed here.

Man brutally killed in Raidurgam

A 45-year-old man was brutally murdered by some unidentified persons in the Raidurgam police limits in the early hours of Friday.

According to police, the deceased, Prakash Singh, went out of his home at Nanakramguda in the early hours. A few hours later he was found murdered and his body, bearing multiple injuries, was found at an open plot in Survey No 48. Police registered a case of murder and began investigations. Old enmity is suspected to be the motive behind murder. (INN)

11-yr-old girl killed in road accident

An 11-year-old girl died of injuries which she suffered when the auto-rickshaw she was travelling in was hit by a RTC bus near Nawabpet crossroads.

The deceased, M Nandini, a resident of New Ganj of Mahabubnagar district, met with the accident on December 17. She was admitted to the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences where she died on Thursday night. (INN)

A 73-year-old woman died of burn injuries which she suffered while cooking food at her residence.

According to Malkajgiri police, the deceased, K Pentamma, caught fire on December 11 while preparing food at her residence in Chintal Basti of Malkajgiri. She was immediately rushed to the Gandhi Hospital where she succumbed on Thursday night. (INN)

Housewife commits suicide in Rajendra Nagar

A 21-year-old woman committed suicide by setting herself ablaze at her residence in Rajendra Nagar police limits.

The deceased, D Vijaya Lakshmi, took the extreme step on Friday. She was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where she died after a few hours. According to police, Lakshmi was married to D Subhash, a driver, on April 25, 2011. The couple also had a child. The reasons that drove her to suicide are yet to be ascertained, police said. (INN)

Gold bars worth Rs. 5 crore seized at RGI airport

Gold bars worth over Rs 5 crore were seized by the custom officials at Rajiv Gandhi international airport in Hyderabad. 3 passengers were arrested in the case. The trio who has arrived from Singapore was allegedly trying to smuggle the precious metal to Chennai.

As soon as they landed at Shamsabad airport the custom officials caught them and seized 18 gold bars each weighing 1 kg from their possession.

Girl gangraped by friends

In an appalling incident, a minor girl was gangraped on thirsday by her friends. Bhavani Nagar police arrested the acused and registered a case against them under the Nirbhaya act.

According to details the girl was out with her friend in his car. Shortly three other friends joined them. The group then went on to rape her in the moving vehicle.

The parents of the girl are said to have lodged a complaint of abduction and rape against the culprits. The girl was shifted to hospital for medical checkup.

Dowry harassment drives woman to suicide

Alleged harassment for more dowry by her husband drove a 30-year-old woman to suicide in the Jeedimetla police limits.

According to police, the deceased, N Lavanya, was allegedly being harassed by her husband Gurucharan of Jagatgirigutta. Gurucharam had recently constructed his house and fell into debts. He was allegedly harassing his wife to get more dowry from her parents.

Upset with her husband’s harassment, Lavanya jumped from the first floor of her house. She sustained a grievous head injury and on being rushed to a nearby private hospital she was declared brought dead.

Unemployed B Tech Grad among two commits suicide

Having failed to find a suitable job a 32-year-old B Tech graduate ended his life.

According to Narsingi police, the deceased, Pavan Kiran, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling fan at his residence in Hyder Shah Kote of Madhavi Nagar on Wednesday night. He was unemployed and was reportedly searching for jobs. However, the failure to find a suitable job led him to the extreme step, police said.
