B Tech student set ablaze, dies

A 19 year-old-girl set ablaze herself at her house in Uppuguda of Chatrinaka on Friday night hours.

According to the Chatrinaka police, The girl identified as P Bhargavi daughter of P Srinivas an B Tech third year student of Vignan Jyothi college resorted to the step due to mental depression police suspect.

On Friday night hours her parents were sleeping on first floor at 11.45 P.M Bhargavi was set ablaze on second floor of the building and died on the spot at her house. Suicide reason was not yet. Chatrinaka police registered a case and investigation is on (INN)

Medical student of Hyderabad dies in Mumbai

Divya, 25, a PG medical student from Hyderabad was found dead in her hostel room, in Mumbai. Even as the hospital authorities claim it to be a case of suicide, her parents are suspecting foul play.

Divya was doing her Post Graduation in Anesthesia at Jaslok hospital in Mumbai. She was found dead in her room under mysterious circumstances at Peddar Road, on Friday morning. Divya who was a resident of Adikmet in Nallakunta, killed herself by injecting poison into her body. She was staying in a hostel with three other roommates.

Tutor held for molesting minor girls in Andhra hostel

Police in Andhra Pradesh Saturday arrested a tutor of a private hostel for sexually assaulting 12 minor tribal girls.

Nalgonda district police arrested Harish Nayak and also hostel warden N. Srinivas and booked them for rape. They were also booked for cheating and other offences under various sections of Indian Penal Code.

The 22-year-old tutor allegedly violated the tribal girls, all below 13 years, during last five months at a hostel run by an NGO.

Man murdered at Rein Bazar
(Siasat News): A man was brutally murdered at Rein Bazar near Nizam Hotel where one Basheeruddin was killed.

Police sources said that the deceased was attacked to settle some old scores but did not say anything about the identity of the attackers. The deceased was the resident of Chandraynagutta and was an auto driver.

Engineering student died in road accident

An Engineering student of CVSR College,Gatkesar died in a road mishap near Jeedimetla on Friday.The deceased was identified as T.Sandeep,21, resident of Telephone Colony,Kothapet .He was on his bike with his friend Karnakanth on his way to college when a hastily driven auto trolley hit the bike. Sandeep succumbed to injuries after he fell down from his bike while his friend suffered injuries. Immediately after the incident the trolley driver fled the spot .

Husband put a match to his wife

S.Uma Devi 22,was allegedly set on fire by her husband Srinivas and his lover where on Friday she died while undergoing treatment . Uma Devi was married to Srinivas who continuously harassed her for additional dowry.Srinivas develop an affair with another woman a Manjula who set Devi ablaze who succumbed to burns. Although the payment of dowries for marriage is illegal in India, they remain widespread across caste, class and educational divides. In recent years demands have become more insistent and expensive.

Car burst into flames at Paradise

Tension prevailed at Paradise when a car catches fire after friday morning. The traffic police without delay informed the fire service personnel when he notice the flames. A fire tender reached the spot and put out the flames. Luckily no one is injured in the accident.

Husband torched pregnant wife for dowry

According to police mother-in -law Maliha Begum and sister -in-law Zarina Begum poured kerosene on Ishrath Begum who was pregnant for additional dowry.
Ishrath Begum died while undergoing treatment at Osmania General Hospital.

Unknown robbed NRI couple

A NRI doctor couple was robbed of US $ 7,500 cash and three gold chains who came to the city to meet their son studying at a private college in KPHB Colony. The couple suspected that somebody entered his room while he was asleep through the sliding window in the room at night. They were staying in Grand Swagath. Their son was studying in Sri Chaitanya Junior College.

Police said that there were CCTVs installed inside the hotel. However, the cameras do not cover the room where the theft took place, they said. A case was registered on Thursday.

Man died after losing control over the bike

Abdul Singh Awad, 35, an electrician was on his way to to Deccan Singh Bawarchi at Shivarampalli to have dinner along with his friends, died after losing control over his two-wheeler in his attempt to overtake an RTC bus, near Vajra Bhavan between Rajendranagar and Shivaramplli on Wednesday night.
He suffered head injuries and died on the spot,” according to Rajendranagar police .

Two houses burgled
(Siasat News): Burglars broke into two houses in Panjagutta and fled with ornaments and cash worth lakhs. One of the houses belongs to a reporter of a vernacular newspaper.

Syed Moinuddin, a reporter, who stays in Erram Manzil, went to drop his wife Shabana Begum to school at around 8 am. When he returned home, he found the lock of the house broken.

Inside the house, the almirah was also found open. About 100 gms gold and 100 gms silver ornaments were stolen.

Hyd: man killed as bike rams bus

A software professional was today killed in a road mishap at Uppal here after the two-wheeler he was riding hit a state road transport corporation bus, police said.

A Rakesh, the victim, was killed on the spot. He hailed from Warangal.

His bike rammed the bus from behind when latter stopped suddenly, police said.

Man dies after falling from running train

A 29-year-old man died on the spot after he accidentally fell down from a running train between Borabanda and Hitech city.

The accident occurred on Wednesday on between the tracks of Borabanda and Hitechcity. The deceased was identified as Syed Jahangir, a resident of Chintal Basti. He was a Driver, according to Nampally Railway Police. (INN)

A 21-year-old Laborer died of a head injury that he suffered after falling from a tree while plucking leaves from a tree.

The deceased, K Prashanth, fell down from the tree near his residence at Meka vanam pally of Mominpet Ranga Reddy District on Dec 29. He was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where he died on Thursday morning hours, according to Mominpet police. (INN)

A 25 year-old house maid escaped an assault from an army jawan Om prakash by dialing 100.
According to Police,Omprakash,30 year-old army jawan, resident of 10th Regiment Stationed at Secunderabad was arrested after a manhunt on Wednesday morning. 4 month old daughter strangled to death by Dad

Babanna, a perfume seller killed his 4 month old daughter at his residence at Chandanagar on Wednesday. Acc ording to Police, Babanna , a resident of flat no-29,Block6, Papi Reddy Colony at Chandanagar strangled his daughter, Aneesha in the absence of his wife Shanti.
The incident came in light when his wife Shanti returned home and found Aneesha lying motionless on the floor with minor injuries on her head and there were no sign of Babanna as he fled before her arrival, chandanagar police inspector N.Vasu said.

Army man held for eve teasing
(Siasat News): Bowenpally police has arrested an army man for eve teasing. It is said that Om Prakash, a sepoy of artillery center, allegedly teased a 25-year-old hotel employee allegedly under the influence of alcohol and had called her to his house.

The girl was frightened of his teasing and succeeded in dodging him. She also informed the police control room. A team of the Bowenpally police reached there and arrested Om Prakash.

A case has been registered against him and later he was sent to jail.

Man held for swindling job-seeker

Cyberabad police arrested a 24-year-old man from Vigyan Kancha near Research Centre Imarat (RCI) Colony.

On the complaint made by Nagamanisri Cyber crime sleuths registered a case and later arrested Rajendran from Kukatpally based on evidences.

According to details the accused swindled Nagamanisri with Rs. 80000 on the pretext of providing a job in IBM. When the victim contacted the IBM office, she realized the job to be a fake one.

Man electrocuted to death in Ibrahimpatnam

A 21-year-old-man died of electrocution at Ibrahimpatnam on Tuesday night hours.

According to the Ibrahimpatnam police, Deceased identified as Parmesh, son of sadu patel a laborer, resident of Eliminedu of Ibrahimpatnam was trying to on a switch of flex box when he got electrocuted, the police said.
