Alleged harassment for more dowry by her husband drove a 28-year-old woman to suicide in the Jubilee Hills police limits.

According to police, the deceased, P Chinnamulu, was allegedly being harassed by her husband Parshuram of Rahmathnagar. Parshuram was allegedly harassing his wife to get more dowry from her parents.

Upset with her husband’s harassment, Chinnamulu consumed un known poison at her house on Jan 11. She was immediately shifted to Gandhi Hospital for treatement where she was died on Jan 15 late night hours.

A- 48-year old painter was crushed to death after a college bus hit him at Saidabad on Thursday morning, the police said.
According to the Saidabad police, Deceased K Venkatesh, an painter was walking on the road when the bus ferrying students of Islamia Degree College for Women hit him and later a buffalo before coming to a halt. The man was crushed between the buffalo and the bus and died.
Saidabad Sub Inspector B. Rajesh registered a case and dead body shifted to Osmania Hospital mortuary for postmortem. Case is under investigation. (INN)

Alcoholic husband set wife ablaze
(Siasat News): An alcoholic husband set his wife ablaze at Rasoolpura in Begumpet. Inspector Begumpet Mr. Sri Hari said that the wife Padma who had sustained burn injuries last month, died.

She was the wife of Yadgiri. Both of them got married 20 years ago and have three children. He was an alcoholic and used to reach home in an inebriated condition every night and used to fight with his wife.

A 35 year-old auto driver from Yellamabanda was murdered allegedly by a person at Sanathnagar on Tuesday.
According to the police, M Sidhu resident of Yellamabanda natve of Bidar Karnataka was having an illicit relationship with a woman Suvarna and used to regular visit her. The husband of the woman Ravi reportedly warned him against meeting him but he did not pay heed to his warning.

A 45-year old Carpenter committed suicide hanged himself at his residence on Jan 14 late hours in Panjagutta Police Limits.
According to police, deceased – Shaik Mehboob, R/o M S Maqta of Panjagutta, took this extreme step of suicide hanged him self due to financial problems, he was facing from the few days. (INN)

A 15-year-old-boy Mohd Nawaz was murdered by a group of people and his body dumped in a drain in Rein Bazaar on Tuesday, the police said. Police suspect personal enmity behind the killing.
According to Rein bazar police, deceased Mohammed Abdul Nawaz, son of Mohammed Abdul Ghani a Roti Maker resident of Chawni Nade ali baig of yakhutpura had gone missing for the last four days Jan 11 after he went for work. His family members tried to trace him but after failing to find him lodged a complaint at the Rein Bazaar police station on Tuesday.

A clash between two families over sending a text message to a girl resulted in a death of a 54 year-old-woman at Vanasthalipuram on Tuesday night.

According to the police, Laxmi Narsimha Reddy (30), who stays in Sri Sai Saptagiri apartments, sent a text message to her neighbour Sushma on Tuesday. A labourer allegedly killed a man and stuffed his body in a gunny bag here as he suspected him of having an illicit relationship with his wife, police said Wednesday.

Ravi allegedly killed Siddhu, an autorickshaw driver, last night.

He then beheaded the body and put the torso and the lower part in a gunny bag and threw it near a roadside in Borabanda area, they said based on preliminary investigation.

During patrolling, the Sanathnagar police found the gunny bag which contained the body and later identified it as that of Siddhu.

The boy who was kidnapped by his friends three days before from Rain Bazar in Hyderabad has been killed. On Tuesday, a phone call was received from the kidnappers confirming that they killed Navaz, a 16 year old boy. The kidnappers informed the same to Navaz’s mother over telephone. The alerted police have carried out intensified searches.

When the police took in custody two friends of Navaz and inquired them, they have confessed that they only killed Navaz and threw his body in Yakutpura seepage.

Man arrested for raping friend’s wife
(Siasat News): L B Nagar police has arrested a man for allegedly raping the wife of his friend and a case has been registered.

Police said that Venu Gopal. 36, was the native of Miryalguda, Nalgonda and has been running a show room.

His college friend had once introduced his wife to Venu and he took the advantage of the acquaintance of the woman who herself had lodged a complaint that Venu had raped her.

A ward boy at the tertiary care maternity hospital at Petlaburj groped two women recovering from cesarean delivery on January 4.

R Praveen, 30, the accused, a sweeper was at a room adjacent to the post operative ward at the hospital. Praveen who was in intoxicated condition when groped women patients on the pretext of examining them. Hospital authorities alleged that no such order was given to him.

A 28-year-old man, allegedly killed his wife after she refused to have sexual intercourse with him. Subramanya Kumar, supervisor in a quarry, throttled his wife and strung up her body in his flat at Kolan Ramchandra Reddy Nagar, Bachupally, Dundigal police said.

The murder happened on December 24 evening,“Kumar came home in the evening and started a fight with her about their sexual life. P. Pavani, 22, had a quarrel with her husband that evening.

A 13-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by two minor boys at Suraram village in the neighbouring Ranga Reddy district, police said on Tuesday.

According to Dundigal police, the boys forcibly took the victim near an isolated place, when she was going home last evening and allegedly raped her there.

Over one kg of gold was today seized and three passengers were detained by the customs officials at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at Shamshabad near here.

(Siasat News): A student hanged himself to death in Musheerabad. According to Musheerabad police, the deceased Shiva Kumar, 12, was the son of one Vankataiah of Parsigutta.

Woman dies due to doctor’s negligence

Komaramma,28 years-old,a construction worker was stabbed by a ex-coworker on Sunday evening at AfzalGunj.

Komaramma wa from Gowlidoddi. On Sunday, evening Komaramma’s former coworker intercepted her on Nayapul at 6:30 pm when she was returning home after work.

According to AfzalGunj Inspector, K.Sudarshan Venkatesh pulled out a knife from his pocket and slit Komaramma’s throat. She was rushed to Osmania General Hospital where doctors remarks her condition to be critical.

A case was registered against Venkatesh and a manhunt is alunched against him to nab, police said.

One more person wanted in connection with the alleged gangrape of a 26-year-old woman dancer from Mumbai was arrested by the police here today.

Hari Krishna, surrendered before the Bowenpally police, who handed him over to the Central Crime Station (CCS), after which he was arrested, a senior police officer told PTI.
