Lorry loaded with clothes looted, 5 arrested
(Siasat News): Bahadurpura police has arrested 5 persons including two lorry drivers in connection with looting a lorry loaded with clothes.

Joint commissioner of police Mr. M Shivaprasad said in a press conference that on the night of January 11, lorry driver Syed Ghouse, resident of Chandraynagutta, along with his four friends lloted a lorry loaded with clothes near Miralam Tank in Bahadurpura.

Laborer dies after falling from height

A-22-year-old laborer died of injuries which he suffered after falling from fourth floor of a building.

According to Saifabad police, the deceased, Saikumar, S/o Ch Mogulaiah, a laborer resident of BJR Nagar of Khairtabad, deceased accidentally fallen from fourth floor of a building on Dec 31 evening hours and received multiple injuries, Immediately he was rushed to Gandhi hospital where he was died on Sunday night hours while undergoing treatment. Upset with husband, wife attempted suicide

On Saturday night, software engineer attempted suicide by consuming sleeping pills at her residence at Manikonda.The victim is identified as Neha, 25 years-old, recently got a job in a Madhapur-based IT firm.

Neha, was married to a real estate agent Laxmikanth Reddy from Upperguda in Manikonda. Both are a native of Shimla, fell in love and married four months ago. Neha attempted suicide by consuming sleeping pills due to family problems.

Labour ends life
(Siasat News):  A labour who was in financial crisis for quite some time ended his life at Jhatpat Nagar in Chaderghat.

He was identified as C R N Kumar. He had consumed pesticide at his residence and after that he was shifted to the hospital where he died during the treatment.

Chaderghat police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

A case against Idroos relative

According to D. Bhaskar Reddy , a Pahadi shareef cop, a land encroachment case has been registered against the kin of Habbeb Idroos.

The complaintant was an employee of Sri Indu Tech approached the police alleging encroachment by Habeeb Mohammed, a relative of Idroos in survey No.99/1 of Merradpally village
.
He further state that Mohammed threathened him when he sought an explanation over the encroachment, the police said.

Truck go slap into bike, killed one

On Saturday, two youngster were on way to take an exam of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) at CMR College when they were hit by a concrete mixer truck at Kompally. The victims are B. Mohan Kumar, 25, son of B.M. Naik, a resident of Karimnagar district and his friend Rajesh.

According to police, the duo’s bike was bump into concrete mixer truck belonging to Ultra Tech when they reached the Kompally railway bridge near SNR Gardens. Mohan died on the spot as he suffered serious head injuries while Rajesh is being treated.

A 15 year old boy dies after falling from height

A-15-year-old boy died of injuries which he suffered after falling down from stairs.

According to Hussainialam police, the deceased, Mohammed Feroz, S/o Mohammed Alam, a private work resident of Amannagar B, deceased accidentally fallen from stairs on Friday evening hours and received multiple injuries, Immediately he was rushed to nearest private hospital where he was died on Saturday evening hours while undergoing treatment. One person commits suicide by hanging

A 45-year old private employee committed suicide by hanging at his residence on Jan 19 in Tirumalghery Police Limits.
According to police, deceased – M Suresh, S/o Chinamma Raju R/o Tirumalghery, took this extreme step of suicide by hanging died on Jan 19 early hours, suicide reason was not known yet. Tirumalghery police said. (INN)

3 red sandal Smugglers held in Badwel

Badwel Police on Sunday arrested three red sandal smugglers in the C. Bowenpally beat of Badwel Forest range in Kadapa district.

The police recovered 15 red sandal pieces worth Rs 2.8 lakh from their possession. The arrested were identified as Chennaiah, Obaiah and Balaiah belonging to Kurnool district. (NSS)

Mentally challenged girl raped in AP

A 20-year-old mentally challenged girl was allegedly raped by two youths in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, police said on Sunday.

The incident occurred last night when Venka Reddy and Ramana Reddy, both labourers from Juvaleru village under Podili police station limits, forcibly took the victim to a secluded place and raped her, they said, adding the duo were in an inebriated condition at the time of the crime.

Andhra techie murdered in Mumbai buried

Esther Anuhya, a software engineer suspected to have been raped and murdered in Mumbai, was Saturday buried in her home town Machilipatnam, which observed a shutdown amid protests demanding death penalty for her killers.

Family members, relatives and friends bid a tearful adieu to the 23-year-old techie, who was buried in a cemetery in the coastal town, about 400 km from here.

The half-burnt and highly decomposed body of Anuhya was found Thursday near a drain near Kanjurmarg, a Mumbai suburb. Mumbai police suspect that she was gang-raped before being murdered.

IIT-Bombay student found dead in Vizag hotel

A 26-year-old student of IIT Bombay was found dead in his hotel room here under mysterious circumstances on Sunday, police said.

“S Sivateja came here from Hyderabad on January 16 and has been staying in a room he has booked in a local lodge. He was last seen yesterday when he came out of his room and asked the staff to bring a bottle of water,” a police official said.

Police said the incident came to light this morning when the room cleaning staff failed to get any response from Sivateja’s room despite repeated knocking on the door.

Student drowns in water sump, dies

A 16-year-old girl was died after she fell into the water sump in the premises of her residence in Chilkalguda police limits.

According to police, the victim, P Ramya, D/o Veera Chary, a ninth class student R/o Annanagar of Mailargadda, accidentally fell into the water sump on Jan 10 and unconscious, Immediately shifted to Gandhi hospital for treatment where she was died on Jan 18 early hours. House wife set ablaze for more dowry

A 28-year-old woman died of burn injuries that she suffered after she was set ablaze allegedly by her husband in the limits of Alwal police station.

According to the Inspector S V Hari Krishna, deceased Gunti Rama alias Pushpa (28) wife of Rajaiah occupation House wife resident of Ambedkar nagar of Alwal.

Deceased married with Rajaiah about 11 years back and they blessed two childrens.

Kidnapped toddler rescued

The Central Zone Police rescued Vaishnavi (2), who was kidnapped on January 11 from Dammalguda in Kushaiguda area on Friday. Later she was handed over to her parents. The kidnapper, Racharla Lavanya alias Pooja, 36 was remanded under judicial custody.

Vaishnavi’s father K Parashuramulu, was a vegetable vendor. Lavanya admitted that on January 11 she came to Baghlingampally to collect rent. When she was walking through the vegetable market, she noticed Vaishnavi playing and managed to whisk her away in an auto to Kushaiguda.

Jeweller held in sex racket

(Siasat News): Police raided Sitara Hotel at L B Nagar and rescued a woman from prostitution and arrested a customer and two organizers.

The 23-year-old woman is a dancer from the city and was forced into prostitution for the past six months. The customer Venkata Murali Krishna, 45, owner of M K Jewellers from Vijayawada, and organizers Ramya and Jogeshwar Rao from Begumpet were arrested.

Woman robbed, killed in Sulabh complex

Pentamma, aged 58 years was found murdered at Sulabh complex at BK Guda, SR Nagar. According to SR Nagar police the woman died after her head was bashed against the wall. Pentamma had been working and residing at the complex since her husband’s death. On the fateful night few persons entered the premises and tried to snatch her anklets. When she resisted, they smashed her head against the wall and killed her. The unknown burglars stole her mobile phone and silver anklets.

Police register case of negligence against private hospital doctors

The Uppal police registered a case of infant male baby death due to negligence against a private hospital doctors.

According to police, One day infant baby boy dies due to doctors negligence, a Pregnant women Bhargavi W/o Shiv Kumar of Ambernagar was admitted to a private hospital on few days back. On Jan 16 evening hours She was birth a male baby, infant boy was died after few hours of the Birth. However, her relative lodged a complaint before the police alleging negligence by the lady doctors Vijaya and shyamala.

Man kills wife’s lover

A man named Ravi killed his wife’s lover after catching them together at his residence in Tulasinagar of Borabanda. His wife Swarna had an affair with an autorickshaw driver Sidhu aged 35 years. Ravi beheaded Sidhu then stuffed the body in a gunny bag and threw it on the roadside.
A police patrol found the body, and a manhunt was launched for the killer.

Action against private financer

Tappachabotra police acted against a private financer and took him under custody and seized all his records. Inspector Mohammed Riyazuddin told that on the complaint of a local resident, 70 year old Jagdeesh Prasad Jaiswal was taken into custody. After primary investigations it was revealed that the accused was running finance business illegally. He lent money on huge interest and doubled interest money after 3 months. Not only this he would take possession of bank pass book and ATC cards of his customers. Police is investigating into the matter.

Aged woman murdered by thieves

(Siasat News): The unknown thieves killed an aged man at Balkampet in Ameerpet area and fled with gold ornaments.

Inspector S R Nagar police station Mr. Prabhakar said that the deceased Pentamma. 60, has been living in slab complex at PJR Nagar. She was actually working there. This morning, she was found dead with injuries marks on her head.

Police suspect that the thieves might have collided her head with the wall and after killing her, might have run away with gold ornaments, cash and cellphone.
