A raid on Brothel, women rescued

A guest house in the Journalist Colony at Banjara Hills was raided by the police on Saturday, and rescued three sex workers. Two organisers and five customers were als arrested by them from the spot. The organisers are Rama Rao and Naidu, while the customers are from the city’s well off families.

According to Inspector S. Ramachandra Reddy, they raided the guest house after a tip-off. All the sexworkers are aged between 20 and 25. While two are from the city, one is from Madhya Pradesh. The arrested men have been organising brothels since some time.

30kg Gold & Silver jewellery looted in Jewellery showroom

In a major robbery, culprits looted gold and jewellery weighing nearly 30 kg from a showroom in Panjagutta area in the city in the wee hours here, police said Saturday.
The CCTV footage of the Tanishq showroom showed an unidentified person entering the premises from the rear side last night and decamping with the booty, Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma said.

Special teams have been formed by the central crime station officials. ‘We are verifying the visuals and investigation will go into all angles’, Sharma said.

Financial problem drives private employee to suicide

A 28-year old Private Employee committed suicide by hanged herself at her residence on Friday night hours in Chilkalguda Police Limits.

According to police, deceased – Krishna Veni alias Alisna W/o Emmanuel R/o Chindi Basti of Chilkalguda, took this extreme step of suicide due to the financial problems she was facing from last few days. Chilkalguda police said. (INN)

Student commits suicide in Shamirpet

A 17 year-old-student hanged himself at his residence in S P Colony of Shamirpet on Saturday early hours.

According to the Shamirpet police, The boy identified as Kiran Kumar son of Venkatesh an Student resorted to the step due severe stomach pain police suspect.

On Saturday early hours deceased hanged himself with ceiling fan and died on the spot at his house. Shamirpet police registered a case and dead body shifted to Gandhi hospital mortuary for postmortem after autopsy deceased body handed over to his parents. (INN)

Investment fraud: woman & accomplice held

A woman swindler and her accomplice who robbed public by promising investment in big businesses and double profit were arrested by Kalapathar police. Both were remanded under judicial custody.

It is said that 35-year-old Maliha Shireen and 24-year-old Mirza Asifullah Baig, residents of Sattar Bagh were arrested by the police. Shireen had swindled her house owner, a woman relative of hers and another person.

Ex-employee of Wipro goes missing

On Friday, a woman software engineer was missing from the Jeedimetla police station limits in Cyberabad. A missing complaint was lodged by the parents of the 24-year-old woman with the police stating that she left home leaving a letter saying she will not return. Till recently, the woman was working at Wipro.

Minor dies in suspicious circumstances
(Siasat News): The death of a minor in Rein bazaar sent shock waves in the locality. It is said that the deceased M a Samdani, 14, resident of Yakutpura, had gone out with his friends in the evening yesterday, died in suspicious circumstances.

He was a student of class VII. At 8 in the evening, a boy reached the house of the deceased and informed his parents that his dead body was lying near the railway tracks.

Youth committed suicide by consuming poison

On Friday near Secunderabad Railway Station a youth consumed poison in the car parking and ended his life.

A suicide note addressed to his family stated that he was down in the dumps about some wrong decisions he had taken in his life. The letter said no one was responsible for his death.

The youth identified as K. Dilip Reddy from Saroornagar had completed his graduation and was unemployed. He left home four months ago and pocketed some money without telling his parents.

A minor was raped by a mechanic

A 13 year-old, a class VII student was sexually exploited more than once by a mechanic for the past six months with a fake promise of marrying her.

The accused, Raju, 20 years-old was a mechanic at Kalavathi Nagar at Jeedimetla.

The incident came to light when the victims’s parents lodged a complaint on Friday.

According to Sub Inspector of police, Jeedimetla, M.Sudershan Raju know the victim and had befriende her.both of them knew each other for the past six months.

Two persons including a women arrested on charges of duping people after collecting money by promising high returns

The city police on Friday arrested two persons including a women on charges of duping people after collecting money by promising high returns on their investment. The police recovered Rs. 2.5 lakh and 13.5 tolas of gold ornaments from them.

The arrested persons, Sayeeda Maliha Shireen alias Asma (35) and her accomplice, Mirza Asifullah Baig (24) both residents of the Sattarbagh in Kalapather duped at least three people of about Rs. 30 lakh.

Mason dies after falling from Seventh floor

A 35 year old Mason died of injuries which he suffered after falling from seventh floor of a building.

According to Miyapur police, the deceased, Berappa, S/o Mallaiah, a mason in a private construction company R/o Miyapur. On Jan 23 evening hours deceased while working on seventh floor of a building suddenly falling from height due to which he received multiple injuries immediately shifted to Gandhi hospital for treatment where doctors declared brought dead.

Intermediate student committed suicide by hanging

A 16 year old Intermediate student committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Madhavnagar of Saroornagar.

According to Saroornagar police, Deceased S. Srilatha, (16) D/o Venkataiah an inter mediate second year student committed suicide by hanging herself to death after her parents scolded her for constantly speaking over phone and not concentrating on her studies. The girl returned from her college on Jan 23 evening hours and hanged herself.

Neighbours kidnap and raped 17-yr-old girl

The incident took place in Kurnool district where a 17-year-old girl was abducted, confined to a room at a lodge for a week, and raped allegedly by her neighbours. The abductors after that freed the girl.

Police inspector B Srinivasulu said that , a missing complaint was registered on January 17. The girl was kidnapped to Kurnool city from Nandavaram. She was confined to a lodge in Kurnool.

A complaint was lodged by the girl, after she returned home. She alleged that the accused enforced her to drink alcohol, and beat her several times.

Thiefs Launch an attack on three shops

In the wee hours of Thursday, Burglars broke into three shops, — a beauty parlout a studio and a tailoring shop — by making a hole in the wall at KPHB. The property worth lakhs were stolen from their shopsc claimed the owners.

The incident happened in the building situated at Nizampet road. When the owners came to their shops in the morning, they found out about the robbery. Few cameras, cloths and beauty products from building were stolen by the offenders.

A case has been filed by the KPHB police and has started an investigation.

The intruder stole about 960 grams of gold ornaments, and 12,000 Canadian dollars (worth Rs.6.6 lakh), two iPhones, and 48 lakh in cash.

The NRI, Maqbool Ali Khan, who works in Canada, bring up to date to the police that the cash and gold was kept for his son’s wedding.

Minor raped, one arrested
(Siasat News): a man was arrested by Moinabad police for allegedly raping a minor.

It is said that the accused P Prabhakar, 31, resident of Aziznagar village in Moinabad and a mason by profession, approached the minor on January 21 on the pretext of getting her better job in another farmhouse as she was alrerady working in a farmhouse.

This is how he took her to Aziznagar village where the holiday farmhouse is located, and raped her. Police has arrested Prabhakar and sent him to jail.

Software engineer escapes kidnap bid

On Thursday at Outer Ring Road, a woman software engineer had escaped her kidnap bid by sending SMSes to her friends, who alarmed the police. The kidnapper had tried to make off with the victim in her own car when she was returning from a temple at Raidurgam.

According to the sources, the crook got inside the car and intimidated the victim that he had weapons and would kill her if she didn’t go along with him. He then asked her to drive towards Outer Ring Road, towards Himayatsagar.

Girl student commits suicide

In an incident occurred at Karmanghat on Tuesday, an Intermediate first year student hanged herself to death.

According to Saroornagar police 16-year-old Srilatha, resident of Subhodhaya colony, Karmanghat, committed suicide by hanging herself at his house. The incident came to light when her brother returned home. The whole family was away when the incident took place. Srilatha left a note mentioning that she is committing suicide due to personal reasons.

Wakf Board to discharge duty against old city traders

On Thursday, the AP State Wakf Board cracked the whip on traders who were occupying in more than 1,000 shops at the Madina Circle of the old city, warning them that criminal cases would be put on record against them if they failed to pay rents directly to the Board.

Cyberabad cops introduce tenant forms to keep tab on ‘terror’

Replicating Delhi and Mumbai models, the Cyberabad Police here has decided to introduce a ‘Tenant Watch Form’ for house-owners as part of efforts to keep a tab on anti-social elements and thwart possible terror designs.

The initiative makes it mandatory for house-owners in all the 41 police stations, including key IT hubs, under the Cyberabad Commissionerate limits to fill in particulars of tenants/inhabitants and inform about it to the police stations concerned.

Unidentified persons decamped with 96 tolas of gold ornaments, 12,000 Canadian dollars in NRI house at Chanchalguda

Unidentified persons broke into a house of a Non- Resident Indian at Chanchalguda and decamped with about one kilogram of gold and cash on Wednesday night.
The NRI, Maqbool Ali Khan came earlier this month to the city along with his family to perform his son’s marriage and was staying at his ancestral house in Chanchalguda. On Wednesday night the family went to attend a marriage ceremony at a nearby function hall when the burglary took place.

Four killed in different train accidents

A 38-year-old cook died after he was trying to cross the track between Dabeerpura and Malakpet stations on Jan 22 night hours.

The accident occurred on wednesday, The Kachiguda Railway police later identified the deceased as Shaik Ahmed, R/o Chanchalguda.

In a similar case, A 40 year old lorry cleaner died after he was trying to cross the track between Yakutpura and Uppuguda stations on Jan 22.
