In an incident occurred at Aghapura, Habeebnagar, a woman committed suicide by setting herself ablaze. It is said that 30-year-old Nazia Begum was the wife of Mohammed Shareef resident of Dhobi Gali, Aghapura.

According to police Nazia Begum’s husband scolded her for not cooking food in the morning. Dejected over this Nazia Begum went to her brother’s house located nearby and poured kerosene over herself on January 26 and set herself ablaze. She died yesterday while undergoing treatment.

A six year-old boy was kidnapped, killed

On Wednesday, at Narsing in Hyderabad, a six year old L.K.G student studying in Krishnaveni Talent School was killed. The boy was kidnapped before he was killed ruthlessly by hitting with a big stone all over his head and face.
After that, he was hanged up with a rope.

The criminal involved in this incident didn’t stop with that. They even poured petrol on the dead body of the boy to wipe out the evidence.

Three women commit suicide
(Siasat News): Three women committed suicide in Hyderabad and Cyberabad limits in three different incidents.

According to Tappachabutra police, 22-year-old Sofiya Begum who was the wife of one Mohd. Khader of Natraj Nagar, Jhirra, took the extreme step of ending her life on January 22 after having a row with her husband.

Police arrested the accused on charge of murder

Police arrested six people, including a juvenile boy, in connection with the murder, a week after a youngster was beaten to death by a gang in full public view at Mir Alam Mandi.

According to the police, the accused had attacked Mohd. Nadeem, when he had asked them not to play cricket on the street for the reason that it disturbed his business.

Housekeeping Staff of AP High Court nabbed

On Tuesday, Rajendranagar police arrested two housekeeping contract employees of the AP High Court in connection with a chain snatching case. The culprits, who work at High Court on contract basis, had snatched the chain of a woman at Rajendranagar few days ago.

According to Rajendranagar Inspector Kushalkar, the accused, Upparpally Suresh, 28, a resident of Swamy Vivakananda nagar, Puranaphool, and Akula Vamshi Krishna, 19, from Gansi Bazaar, had snatched 30.5 gram gold using their Glamour bike.

Two persons arrested in snatching cases

Rajendranagar Police arrested two accused persons on Jan 27, 10.30 hours namely Accused Upparpally Suresh (28) S/o Yellaiah, R/o Swamy Vivekananda Nagar Puranapool and Accused Akula Vamshi Krishna @ Vamshi (19) S/o Venkat Reddy, R/o H.No.Ghansi Bazar, Hyderabad , both are working as House Keeping (Contract) High court of A.P. who were involved in snatching cases U/S 356, 382 IPC of P.S. Rajendrangar and recovered 3 ½ tulas gold and one Glamour motor cycle from the accused, which is used in commission of offence.

Kiran of guntur surrenders with Tanishq booty, hunt on for another

A youth by name Kiran was arrested by the police today in connection with the Tanishq Jewellers robbery.
Police said the youth was secretly interrogated by the police. As many as four other people have been picked up and they are being interrogated, based on the information provided by him, city police commissioner Anurag Sharma told pressmen.

Task force raided brothel in Film Nagar, rescued sex workers

On Saturday night, Task Force officers raided a brothel operating from the posh Film Nagar locality and arrested seven persons, which includes two organizers. Two sex workers have been rescued during the raid.

Task Force sleuths raided a farm house which belongs to a businessman Appa Rao from Film Nagar on Saturday night by acting on a tip-off. Police come across five customers and two sex workers at the farm house in compromising positions.

Man was killed while crossing

According to police, P Krishna Yadav, 56, from Amberpet was killed while crossing the road at LB Nagar. Yadav,was an employee at the Bajaj Electronics Showroom, was on his way to work around 6 am when an unidentified vehicle hit him. He died on the spot with serious head injuries.

Police registered cases under section 304-A (Causing death by rash or negligent act) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Teenager sets herself ablaze

On Saturday, at Rajendranagar, a fifteen year-old girl, committed suicide by setting herself ablaze after she was forced to live with her husband by her family .She was forcibly married off to a 30-year-old relative.

The victim was identified as N Nandeswari from Rajendranagar. Her father had died when she was a kid and later her mother throw out Nandeswari from her life. Nandeswari, a class X student at a local school in Rajendranagar area, was brought up by her uncle Nageswar Rao, an employee of HMWS&SB.

Students injured as private college buses collide

Several students were injured when the two buses of private colleges collided head on. According to inspector Naridmet Mr. K Ramesh bus belonging to MLR Institute of Technology, Dundigal was heading towards Dundigal from Mirzaguda when it collided near DIET College with the bus of Bharati Institute of Technology, Ibrahimpatnam which was going towards Safilguda from Naridmet.

The sudden collision left the bus driver of MLR Institute of Technology and several students injured. The injured were rushed to a local hospital. A case has been registered with Naridmet police.

Labour, farmer commit suicide

A labour hanged himself to death at Subhash Nagar of Jedimetla. According to police 23 year old P Shekhar Reddy was suffering from severe stomach ache. Unable to bear the pain he committed suicide on Sunday morning by hanging himself.

In another similar incident 55 year old farmer committed suicide under Maheshwaram police station limits. Police told that E Ramaiah resident of Maheshwaram committed suicide by consuming poison.

Gold ornaments worth Rs. 14 lakh stolen
(Siasat News): The burglars broke open a house in Kushaiguda and made their escape good with gold ornaments worth Rs. 14 lakh.

In the meantime, Inspector Kushaiguda Mr. K Venkat Reddy said that real estate businessman M Madhusudan Rao lives in a rented house at OUT colony in Kapra.

However, he had gone to attend the funeral of his friend’s mother on Friday night. Taking advantage of the locked house, the burglars broke open the lock and gained the entry.

Housebreaker burgled realtor’s house

On Sunday, burglars struck at a house in OUTA Colony in Sainikpuri and stole about 360 grams of gold, silver ornaments and cash worth lakhs. M. Madhusudan, owner,was a realtor, was away at the time of theft. After returning home on Sunday, he found the door opened and valuables from the almirah missing.

Police probing all angles in jewellery showroom burglary case

Investigations into the burglary case at a jewellery shop at Panjagutta area here has revealed that 15.5 kg of gold ornaments and colour stones worth Rs 5.9 crore was stolen, the police said here today, even as it launched a probe into all other angles.

According to a senior police officer, the stock in the showroom has been checked minutely. A statistical analysis of gold ornaments and other valuables found that gold ornaments and colour stones weighing 15.5 kg was stolen during the early hours of Saturday.

Unidentified mows down pedestrian

One person died when he was hit by a Unknown vehicle while crossing road at NTR Nagar under L B Nagar police station limits on Saturday night.

According to L B Nagar police, the victim has been identified as P Krishna Yadav (56), employee in Bajrang electronics showroom at L B Nagar resident of New Ganganagar of Amberpet

Teenager commits suicide after forcible marriage

Depressed over her relatives forcibly marrying her off, a 15 year-old-girl committed suicide about four months after the marriage.

The incident occurred in the Rajendranagar police limits on Saturday night. According to police, the deceased, N Nandeshwari, was staying with her grandparents after the death of her father. Four months ago one of her relative, Andalu, took her to Yadarigutta and forcibly performed her marriage with one Krishna, an employee of a private firm and resident of Yadagirigutta.

Death of AP woman in Pune cloaked in mystery

Parents of a BPO staffer in Pune alleged the role of their son-in-law behind the Mysterious death of their daughter.

On Friday, Shaik Khajabee (25), a BPO employee, was found dead in mysterious conditions at her flat in Mangalnagar of Wakad area in Pune. Khajabee was a native of Nandigama in Krishna district, married one Muneeb Mohammed of Khajipuram village of Madhira mandal in Khammam district, about three years ago against the wishes of her parents.

A teen-aged raped by landowner ‘s son

According to Madannapet police, on Wednesday. a 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by the son of her land-owner at Edi Bazaar in Madannapet. On Wednesday, the girl who stayed with her parents on the ground floor of a building, went to take bath when the accused M A Abid, 22, allegedly outraged her modesty, police said.

The family members hang back to make a police complaint for fear of humiliation and retribution. When the relatives give confidence to them, the girl along with her parents made a complaint at the Madannapet police station on Saturday, the police added.
