The YSR Congress Party has announced its support to NDA candidate in the Presidential elections.
This was announced by YSRCP President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy after he, along with party MPs, called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at latter’s residence in New Delhi on Wednesday. Speaking to media persons later, Jagan said the election of President of India should be unanimous. He said NDA has sufficient numbers to win the elections. Therefore, he said it was wrong to necessitate elections when its outcome it already clearly known.
Jagan said although the YSRCP has several difference with the BJP on the issues of Land Acquisition Act and Special Status for Andhra Pradesh, he said his party would support BJP candidate. (INN)
