Tribal Welfare Minister A Chandulal today said that refineries of agriculture and forest products will be started in the state.
He released annual plan of tribal cooperative society and said that dal refineries will be started at Ichchoda, Bela, Narnur and Illendu areas and provide employment. The dal items being produced by the society have big demand in the market. The Minister also said that sanitary napkins for girls will be produced from these areas. He asked the officials to set up Soaps and shampoo companies and it was planned to achieve a target of Rs 250 cr production this financial year.
The napkins so produced will be supplied to the girls studying in various colleges like hostels, ashram schools in the state and also nutritious food. It is also decided to launch food processing units in Bdhadrachalam, Utnoor and Eturu Nagaram he said. The minister also said that the beauty material in the name of KCR Kits will be given to the girls. (NSS)
