Hyderabad: Telugu Nadu Students Federation State president Chiluka Madhusudan Reddy today termed the suspension of Opposition members as mockery of democracy.
In a statement here on Saturday, the TNSF president said TDP MLA Revanth Reddy wanted discussion on adjournment motion moved on fee-reimbursement and problems of students. But the TDP members were unilaterally suspended from the Assembly. He said the behaviour of the Speaker was partisan as he ignored the appeals of the Opposition members and supported the ruling party. The government should immediately take measures on fee-imbursement and other problems of the students, otherwise they would launch agitation against the hostile attitude of the government which doesn’t want to discuss students’ problems, he added.
