MP CM to undertake Padyatra in rural areas from Feb. 1

Bhopal, January 31 (Pervez Bari): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan will undertake Padyatra (foot-march) in the rural areas of the state from February 1 with a view to have firsthand knowledge of ground realities of the schemes’ implementation.

Mr. Chouhan will start his Padyatra from village Magriya in Nasrullahganj tahsil of Sehore district at 11 am. From there, he will undertake journey up to villages Gorakhpur, Semarpani etc. and directly interact with the people. The Chief Minister will undertake spot inspection of the ongoing development works in the villages. He will himself witness the ground realities of field implementation of all the schemes including those pertaining to water, power and roads.

Interacting with people, Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan will enquire from people about their problems and difficulties. He will also review the efforts being made by the administration for redressing these problems.

It may be mentioned here that Mr. Chouhan had also undertaken Padyatra of villages when he was a member of Parliament. He is also know in villages as Paon-Paon Wale Bhaiya (brother who undertakes foot-march). (pervezbari@eth.net)
