Two former ministers of TDP joined the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi here on Monday.
C. Krishna Yadav and P. Bhumanna, along with their hundreds of supporters, joined the TRS at an event held at TRS Headquarters Telangana Bhavan today. They were admitted into the party by D. Srinivas, Advisor to Telangana Government, in the presence of ministers Tummala Nageshwar Rao and K. Tarakarama Rao.
Speaking on the occassion, KTR reiterated that the TRS would 100 seats in the GHMC elections and capture the posts of Mayor and Deputy Mayor. Welcoming Krishna Yadav and Bhumanna into the party, he said many more leaders from other parties were keen to join the TRS. However, he said that the TRS was selective in inducting the leaders and only those having a clear vision on development of Hyderabad and Telangana were being admitted into the TRS. (INN)
