Hyderabad: Uppal Police arrested WhatsApp group admin and another member for posting a derogatory photo. This photo was hurting the religious sentiments of a group.
According to the sources, this photo was posted in “Chilka Nagar” WhatsApp group after which, many persons reacted on it.
After the preliminary investigation, Uppal police found that the photo was forwarded by Sailu to Sudhakar who in turn, posted it in the group. Sailu is a resident of Cherial, Warangal District.
After the post went viral, one of the members of the group lodged a complaint with the police. Police registered a case under section 153A, arrested both WhatsApp group admin and a member, Sudhakar.
