Kailash Satyarthi’s ‘Nikal Pade Hein’ crosses 2 million views within 24 hours

New Delhi [India]: Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, who recently launched his 35-day Bharat Yatra against child sexual abuse and trafficking, has amassed almost two million views on his song ‘ Nikal Pade Hein’ on Facebook and YouTube in just 24 hours.

The song, featuring Sonam Kalra, has been written by Satyarthi, composed by Indian ocean.

The song, which is interspersed with videos from Satyarthi’s previous marches, urges citizens of this country to join the fight against child sexual abuse and trafficking

Amit Kilam of Indian Ocean said, “We need a few more people in India like Kailash Satyarthi ji, who can work for other people. We are happy and honoured to walk a few steps with him by making the song ‘Nikal Pade Hain’ for the Bharat Yatra.”

The 63-year-old has been campaigning for the freedom, safety and security for children across the globe from past 36 years.

He was awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 was for his continuous efforts and struggle for the rights of children.

The Bharat Yatra has also received support from Google through its homepage promotion.

The Yatra is aimed at increasing awareness and reporting of the cases of sexual abuse, strengthening medical health and compensations, ensuring protection of victims and witnesses during the trials of cases and increasing convictions of child sexual abuse in a time bound manner.
