Endowment and Housing Minister today inspected the works related to Krishna Pushakarlu at Vadapalli village in Damaracharla mandal in Nalgonda district. MLA Bhaskar Rao, MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and Collector Satyanarayana Reddy accompanied the minister.
Speaking to reporters later, Indrakaran said the officials were asked to provide better amenities for the holy Krishna Pushakarlu beginning from August 12 in Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda districts. The Minister maintained that the TSRTC officials were asked to ply 1,150 buses to transport the devotees coming from remote places to pushkar ghats. The devotees should get easy darshan at the temples which should be spruced up with bright illumination, he said. Indrakaran asked the officials to complete the works of bathing ghats, water and power supply besides ensuring better sanitation and upkeep of the premises.
The Endowment Minister also asked the officials to see that the devotees thronging in large numbers to the pushkar ghats should get better amenities of transport and others. The officials have taken steps by pressing in 2,500 staff for smooth conduct of the holy pushkaralu in the district. (NSS)
