Hyderabad, November 03: Chief Minister K Rosaiah along with Pradesh Congress Committee chief D Srinivas and leaders of various farmers associations today paid rich tributes to former chief minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddy for his contribution to agriculture sector. A book was also released in memory of late YSR highlighting his contribution towards development of agriculture sector and improving the living standards of farmers.
Participating as a chief guest in the book release function organised by the PCC Kisan-kheth Mazdoor Congress at Jubilee Hall in Public Gardens here, Rosaiah described late YSR as a great visionary.
Mentioning the services rendered by the late leader for the society particularly for farmers and women, he said fulfilling the late leader’s ambitions would be real tributes to YSR.
The PCC president asserted that there was a need to strive for fulfilling the late leader’s ambitions particularly in respect of agriculture sector.
PCC kisan-kheth cell chairman M Kodanda Reddy presided. Agriculture Minister N Raghuveera Reddy, MP and Government advisor KVP Ramachandra Rao, former ministers P Narsa Reddy, M Buddha Prasad, farmers’ association forum president P Chengal Reddy, MLA Ch Rajeshwar Rao, farmer association leader K Nageshwar Rao and others were present.
