Unable to bear the insult of being suspected in a theft case and harassment by the police, a youth ended his life in the town.
According to information, someone robbed properties worth Rs. Four lakh in the house of one Giridhar Reddy, living in the two town police station area. Police suspected Sai, working in the house and called him to the police station. Perturbed by the insult, the youth consumed pesticide. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died on Sunday morning.
Angered by this tragedy, relatives of the deceased staged a demonstration with the body at the house of Giridhar Reddy.
