Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali today received the World Peace and Prosperity Foundation Award for the year 2016 from Prince Mohsin Ali Khan, Founder-Chairman of World Peace and Prosperity Foundation, London, at the Ministers Quarters in the morning.
Speaking on the occasion, Prince Mohsin Ali Khan, a noble from the City of Hyderabad, said the foundation feels privileged to honour Deputy Chief Minister Md.Mahmood Ali for displaying exemplary leadership in bringing about change in the lives of the underprivileged populations and propagating peace and harmony in the Telangana State. “We have come down to Hyderabad to present the award as the minister could not come to London, which otherwise is organized annually at Cholmondeley Room of the House of Lords, London, UK.
World Peace and Prosperity Foundation Committee had decided to inaugurate an Annual Award for the most distinguished persons and contributors, nationally and internationally, who achieved peace and harmony between people of all ages and nations, in the UK and Worldwide friendships. (NSS)
