Hyderabad: Managing editor Mr Zaheeruddin Ali Khan said today the world is reverting to the Unani system of treatment hence he urged the students who want to make their future bright through this stream, to work hard and persevere. He told this while addressing a felicitation programme held by Unani Medical Association (UMA) in collaboration with Siasat Daily at Media Plus Auditorium, Jamia Nizamia Complex, Abids.
Dr Khaja Badruddin Siddiqui Chairman Unani Medical Association presided over the function. On the occasion students who availed the all India entrance coaching for taking admission into MD Unani Medicine were felicitated. They were presented medals and citation.
Speaking further Mr Zaheeruddin Ali Khan paid rich tributes to the medical services of Hakeem Syed Ghousuddin. He said Unani medicine is fast gaining popularity around the world. He claimed that this system is today treating many chronic diseases.
Dr Munawwar Husain Kazmi Director CRUIM, Dr Mir Yousuf Ali former additional director Ayush, Dr Rafi Hyder Shukaib president Unani Medical Association, Dr Abdur Rahman Khan general Secretary Unani Medical Association and others addressed the programme.
