Will take up TS issues in Parl: Jithender, KK

TRS party MPs Jithender Reddy and K Kesava Rao today said that they will rake up state issues in parliament session beginning form Nov 26.

Speaking to reporters they said that they will not disrupt Parliament proceedings as the nation needs its session to address many issues. The nation needs a smooth deal of the parliament session they said. The TRS leaders said that the BJP Government at the Centre is yet to fulfill its promises of high court division and implementation of Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act. The TRS made 13 proposals to the parliamentary affairs wing and will take up the issues after waiting for seven days in the session. The TRS is not demanding anything more than what the Centre promised to implement the Act they said. Besides high court division as per constitution, the Centre has to accord national status to Pranahitha Chevella project, they said. The TRS leaders said that they will sure press the government to purchase all cotton produce from the farmers by giving them MSP and salaries hike for Asha workers and other issues. We have urged the Centre to give Rs 1000 cr to Telangana Government towards 231 drought affected mandals, they added. (NSS)
