New Delhi: Upset over the adjournment in the Ayodhya title suit case, Swami Chakrapani threatened that the Hindu Mahasabha would stage a protest against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) if an ordinance is not brought by the government on the issue of Ram Temple within 30 days.
“The Supreme Court should have given this (hearing on Ram Temple) importance, is homosexuality more important than this? This is unfortunate. The decision should be taken as soon as possible. In 2014 we supported the BJP on condition than Ram Mandir will be constructed, there would be laws for Gau Raksha, and Article 370 in JK would be revoked. In 2014 there was majority, even after that, there has not been any ordinance on Ram Temple. This is a betrayal for Hindus,” Chakrapani told ANI.
The Supreme Court on Monday adjourned the Ayodhya title suit till January 2019 to fix the date of hearing in the matter.
The top court adjourned the matter which challenged the Allahabad High Court ruling of 2010, which had ordered division of the disputed land in Ayodhya into three parts for each of the parties — the Sunni Waqf Board, the Nirmohi Akhara and Ram Lalla.
