Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today said the State government will issue a notification to fill 10,000 constable posts soon in addition to 9000 posts filled up. The Government is focusing on strengthening the police system with modern technology to build a society sans crimes, he said.
Participating in developmental programs at Siddipet here today, Harish Rao said as many as 850 CC Cameras have been installed in the district headquarters for continuous vigil on the day-to-day affairs to strengthen the Police department. He appealed to the police officials to provide people-friendly services using high technology and gadgets. Harish said Rs 1.58 crore worth modern signaling system has been set up in Siddipet.
Harish Rao also launched a command control system at Police Commission office on the occasion. The minister said law and order was top priority and the government was modernizing the policing system and its functioning. The law and order will prevail when the Police department is modernized with latest technologies, he averred. The State Government was making efforts for the welfare of the Police personnel, who are ought to offer the speedy and friendly services to the people coming to the police stations.
Harish Rao also participated in some developmental programs at Chinta Madaka – native village of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He inaugurated a newly constructed Gram Panchayat office building in the villages. He also laid foundation stones for construction of the flagship double bedroom houses, Sri Rama Temple and a building for Mudiraj and fishermen society in the village. (NSS)
