HE WAS A MUSLIM AND PROOF OF IT IS AVAILABLE ON SEVERAL WEBSITES ON INTERNET. He eas (sic) basically a british.’
Following this, the Congress was quick to slam the Modi government and demanded an apology over the mischievous changes.
Congress leader Randeep Surjewala said the Prime Minister must initiate corrective measures in this regard and added that a criminal case must be lodged under the necessary provisions of the IT Act and the Indian Penal Code.
Software, which tracks anonymous Wikipedia edits has found that mischievous changes were made to the entries on Jawaharlal Nehru and his forefathers on June 26.
According to reports, the revisions, which originated from a Government of India IP (Internet Protocol) address, said that Nehru’s grandfather Gangadhar Nehru was a Muslim.
