Registrar Osmania University, Prof. E Saresh Kumar attended the meeting of State Minority Commission and assured the commission that the decision in connection with the grievance of two professors of university will be taken within two weeks.
Registrar Prof E Saresh Kumar reached the commission on June 25 and assured sympathetic judgment with regard to two professors within two weeks.
Associate Professor Linguistic Department Mohammed Ansari had complained that university is not paying arrears despite his appointment as lecturer. Another Associate Professor Dr. S A Hashmi (retd) Department of Physical Education had complained of not being promoted under career advancement scheme. He complained that although over 200 people were promoted under this scheme but he was ignored as he belongs to minority community. Chairman Minority Commission Abid Rasool Khan directed the university authorities to make speedy settlement of the grievances.
