Why Governor summoned to Delhi?

Hyderabad, October 07: Center has summoned Governor Narasimhan to New Delhi. It already had meetings with Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana.

Since, KCR & Co., has bluntly refused to end their general strike until a favorable announcement is made on Telangana issue, the Center is said to be preparing to impose President’s Rule on the state to bring normalcy.

All the statements made by Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh, Finance Minister Pranab Mukharji, Home Minister Chidambaram, state political-in-charge Gulhamnabi Azad and the official spokes person of Congress party Abhishek Singhvi’s are very discouraging on Telangana issue and at the same time indicates that it may prolonged for next one or two years.

So, congress can’t afford the state come onto its knees by allowing the General strike continues until Telangana is announced. The congress high command is also very much embarrassed with its Telangana leaders who nowadays more aligned with TRS and T JACs than with Congress. It is also getting regular feed back from the beleaguered Kiran Kumar Reddy Government which is troubled by its Telangana leaders.

When, it’s own MLAs are threatening to destabilize the Government and its own MPs refuse to obey its veto to attend the parliament sessions, naturally it is irritating for Congress high command.

More over, if it let the sate collapse with the General strikes, it may loose the only one state down the south-Andhra Pradesh in the next general elections. When, it can’t make its Telangana leaders understand the complex factors involved in declaring Telangana, then the only option left for it is imposing President’s Rule in the state.

Governor Narasimhan who also faced some bitter experiences from Telangana Congress leaders and TRS leaders may advice the Center to impose President’s Rule in the state.

Finally, these are the half a dozen reasons that may encourage Center to impose President’s rule in the state.

1. Intelligence alarming reports about Naxals entering Telangana agitations and its warnings about possible violence if general strike continues any further.
2. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy’s reports about T congress leaders and the crisis situation in the state.
3. PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana reports about prevailing situation in the party.
4. Governor Narasimhan’s reports about the prevailing situation in the state.
5. Disobedience of Telangana leaders and its affect on the party and the Government.
6. The adverse affects predicted for the party in 2014 general elections.
