New Delhi, December 12: Despite approaching the landmark of 800 wickets in the longer version of the game, Sri Lankan spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan, who is the highest wicket-taker in both Test cricket and in ODIs, claimed that legendary Australian leggie Shane Warne has a superior ”cricket brain” than him.
”Warne was a fantastic bowler and so different from others,” Muralitharan said.
”I would say he had a better cricketing brain than me.
Basically I depended on my ability to spin the ball, accuracy and an ability to bowl marathon spells without tiring,” the off-spinner told a cricket website.
