Hyderabad: Locals illegally occupied 42.25 acre Waqf land worth Rs. 10 Cr in Nalgonda district and got it registered. Concerned revenue officer also admitted registry of the waqf land by private people. The said waqf land is under survey no’s 140, 141, 145 and 146 whose market value is more than Rs. 10 Cr.
Though it is the responsibility of Waqf Board and respective MRO to protect the waqf property but unfortunately the officials extended complete support to the locals who occupied the land illegally.
After investigations revenue officials declared the land as waqf and refused to issue patta pass book.
According to reliable sources those who illegally occupied the land are pressurizing the revenue officials to issue patta pass book, by using their influence.
