NEW DELHI: Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai on Wednesday was trolled on social media after a picture circulating purportedly showed her wearing skinny jeans and heeled boots and a bomber jacket.
The unverified photograph shared on October 14 initially surfaced on Siasat.pk, a Pakistani Facebook group with captioned ‘Malala Yousafzai in UK’ has gone viral on the Internet and has garnered more than 11,000 reactions and over 2,000 comments.
The 20-year-old is studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the prestigious Oxford University in London.
In 2012, she escaped death when she was shot in the head by the Taliban after campaigning for girls’ rights to education.
