Union Minister for Minority Affairs Najma Heptulla assured that the process of Waqf Board split will be completed within a month. Central Waqf Council meeting was held in New Delhi on Tuesday in which Mrs. Najma Heptulla talked to Director Minority Welfare Mohammed Jalaluddin Akber regarding Waqf Board bifurcation and implementation of Minority Welfare Schemes in Telangana.
Director Minority Welfare mentioned the obstructions coming in the way of protection of Waqf properties due to non distribution of Waqf Board. After talking to the concerned officials the union minister told that notification of distribution of Waqf Board will be issued within one month.
