Mumbai, December 08: Telecom services provider Vodafone Essar today said it has slashed roaming rates for pre- and post-paid customers across the country under two schemes ? Travel Plan and Ticket Plan, becoming the latest entrant in the ongoing tariff war.
Under the Travel Plan, customers can avail roaming services at a rate of 70 paise per minute, while the Ticket Plan would offer 1.5 paise per second billing, a release issued here said.
These plans will be valid when customers latch on to the Vodafone network while roaming in the country, it added.
Pre-paid users can buy the Travel Plan and the Ticket Plan by recharging with Rs 61 and Rs 62 bonus cards respectively.
These plans have validity of 365 days from the date of recharge. However, the retail price of bonus cards could vary from circle to circle, the company said.
