YSR Congress Party leader Vijaya Sai Reddy here on Wednesday received the confirmation letter relating to his unanimous election to the Rajya Sabha recently.
It may be mentioned that Vijaya Sai Reddy, party general secretary, was nominated to the Rajya Sabha by party supremo Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Speaking to the media on the Telangana Legislative Assembly premises today, Vijaya Sai Reddy said he would strive for development of Andhra Pradesh, adding that his party was fighting for special status for Andhra Pradesh. He also criticised Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for its miserable failure in resolving problems of the people during the past two years. (NSS)
