VH raps Governor

Alleging that two Telugu States Governor ESL Narasimhan has no work other than visiting temples, Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao asked the Governor as to why he was not responding on the inferior works going on for Krishna Pushkaralu in Andhra Pradesh State. He demanded the Governor to order an inquiry to know as to what happened on August 1 morning between the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chnadrababu Naidu and officials after the collapse of pillar.

 

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday, VH said that bridge pillar at Bhavani Ghat in Vijayawada collapsed due to inferior quality works. “Nobody bothered about the collapse of the pillar. The government is constructing a slab at Vijayawada forgetting that a slab needs 28 days for use. But the Krishna Pushkaralu starting on August 12”, he alleged. He alleged that the requests to the Governor were going to dust bin instead of reacting on them.

 

Demanding Andhra Pradesh state government to order an inquiry into the work nature of contractor of Krishna Pushkaralu, VH said that the contractor’s company Soma was not concentrating on quality work. The Governor was confined to submit reports in Delhi. He alleged that the Governor failed to respond on leakage of EAMCET paper. He alleged that he has no belief in present Governor and justice will not be meted out to the people till he stays in office.

 

Reacting to a question, VH said that the Medak district Congress leaders were threatening the Party activists when they attended on my visit to Mallannasagar. He said that the state Congress leaders failed to invite him to the ‘Chalo Mallannasagar’ program held few days ago. (NSS)
