Finding fault with the Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao and Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao for criticizing former Union Minister S Jaipal Reddy for stating that the TRS government was anti-farmer and pro-contractors, TPCC vice-president Mallu Ravi said that the Ministers not to forget that Jaipal Reddy received ‘Best Parliamentarian’ award before criticizing him.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday, Ravi said that Jaipal Reddy never made any criticism for selfish ends and for elections sake. Jaipal Reddy made allegations against TRS government for acquiring land for projects forcefully releasing G.O.No.123 instead of implementing Land Acquisition Act-2013.
Reminding the works did by Jaipal Reddy, Ravi said that Jaipal attended the launching program of Jurala Project during Anjaiah regime as an opposition leader. “One should not forget the role of Jaipal Reddy in achieving separate Telangana state”, he said. (NSS)
